The B&B is in the ancient town of Lijiang. It takes about 1 minute to walk from the nearest ancient town entrance to the hotel. After entering the ancient town, the road is a stone road. The heights are not uneven and it is not easy to drag luggage. You can contact the hotel in advance to arrange a tricycle to pick up and drop off, but the tricycle does not carry people to transport luggage, and the charge is 30 yuan/trip (directly settled by the homestay here). If you live in a homestay in the ancient town, it is recommended to wear comfortable soft shoes. Since the stones laid on the ground in the ancient town have a long history, the roads in the ancient town are crisscrossed, but the road is uneven and the stone surface is smooth. It is especially slippery and easy to lame when walking in it on rainy days. Be sure to pay attention to safety; I found that there is a difference between the display maps of most homestays and the actual naked eye effect. The network map is really over-filtered. The interior furnishings of the room are relatively old. The family room we booked is located on the 3rd floor of the homestay. There are two single beds and a large bed in the room. It is a large room type in the ancient town homestay; There is a creek at the entrance of the hotel. The entrance is quite a little bridge and flowing water in the south of the Yangtze River. It attracted many young ladies to come here to take pictures. The external environment of the hotel is quiet. Of course, the fly in the ointment is that the internal electrical equipment is aging and outdated. The wall is also a bit mottled... I heard from the boss that the homestay should have a decoration plan next year, and I look forward to seeing you next time ～

I got to know this hotel through some positive review from other guests and decided to try it out as I am not familiar with this place nor do I know anyone here. Glad that I did as it turns out to be an excellent experience. The hotel location is easy to reach as it is just a few minutes walk from the main road and it is right next to the old town (丽江古镇)。It is also right in front of a beautiful pond. The room is clean and tidy, everything works, breakfast porridge is tasty. But most importantly the hotel management are extremely friendly and helpful – this make my trip so much more easy and enjoyable. Ann (冰冰) is an excellent manager who offered me valuable advises and tips on where to go , what to do, what to avoid and she helps me with all my booking for the side trips – I had an easy time visiting the snow mountain (雪山), Lugu Lake (泸沽湖) and watch the magnificent Lijiang performance (丽江千古情) . All arranged and well managed with Ann’s help. This is so important when we heard so much negative comments about travelling to Lijiang from unscrupulous tour operator but here I am glad I met honest and reliable people. So if you are new to Lijiang and need guidance, I strongly recommend staying here and speaking to Ann. She is candid, transparent and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful place but the people makes the entire experience even more wonderful .

Located just on the south edge of ancient town. I much prefer this area as it is quiet and accessible by car, unlike most hotels in ancient town. Breakfast buffet is a welcome and served a variety of continental and chinese food. Get quite crowded at 9AM and typical China tourist behaviour can be expected. Golf carts sent and picked us up from our room, which is in a garden environment. I went in winter so the walks around the hotel were nice. Rooms are quite dated, albeit very clean. Some lights were either blown or flickering. Moisturiser container wasnt topped up but concierge responded quickly.

The facilities are amazing! The rooms have been well designed, with a modern look! The staff were very accommodating and helped us with all our questions we had. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Lijiang!

The hotel is classic ancient architecture and very nice for photo taking. The hotel is 20 mins from Lijiang ancient town. The hotel manager Eason and receptionist April (Ms Hou)are very helpful handling my check in. Eason support very well and upgrade my 2 night stay to Snow Mountain View in continuity with my first day booking. The Yulong Snow Mountain View is just awesome. The staffs made my 3 night stay in Lijiang was memorable and left me a great impression of their hospitality and Lijiang city.

I had a wonderful vacation at Banyan Tree Lijiang. I booked a large bed room with a massage pool and enjoyed the view of the snow-capped mountains while soaking in the pool in the yard. It felt like a vacation. The garden design of the hotel's public area is very exquisite, with many fruit and flower trees planted, allowing you to enjoy different landscapes throughout the year. Children can feed fish and ducks at any time here, play in the Yunshang Farm and trampoline park, and there are various handicraft experience activities every day. The butler service here is also very good. Thank you to our butler Rosa for helping arrange the birthday decoration. She has been paying attention to our stay experience during our stay. The service is very meticulous and considerate. The staff at the hotel's boutique, concierge, and housekeeping departments are always enthusiastic and courteous to provide service and assistance. Overall everything was great!

I booked Yueyun with the attitude of giving it a try, and the result exceeded expectations. The scenery is very good and the facilities are well maintained. Thumbs up for the upgraded room type at the front desk. The family villa is full of details and the children like it very much. On the day of check-in, the security guard was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help carry the luggage and guide me to the room. They also introduced the hotel and party facilities in detail, and the housekeeping department responded to all requests. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Exceeded expectations. Very new hotel, very clean, and high tech. Room size was good, toilet with automated wc. Do note, though, that the glass separating wc and shower is transparent; not convenient for 2 people to use at the same time. The location is in-between Black Dragon Lake and the Water Wheel - both within 5 mins walk. Service was very polite, with complimentary afternoon tea, fruits and pastry.

Honghua’s location is perfect! (The closest gate is the South Gate). Checking in was a breeze and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was pretty good (Chinese breakfast)but served quite late imo (8:30-10:30). The room was nice and clean. Heads up: They don’t clean your room or give more water bottles during your stay. I was a bit surprised but I didn’t mind. All in all, I’d recommend! Very cheap and decent! BTW, make sure you go all the way up the stairs. There’s a great view from the balcony!
