The live situation of the accommodation is reasonable in Melbourne for such a price. The service at the front desk of the hotel is very good. The towel will be thoughtfully windy.

We were warmly welcomed and assist with the check in by jays. She is friendly and polite making the check in an ease. The room was clean and spacious, the bed were very comfortable. Air con was working well. There’s a kitchen component which was handy as I like fruits. Our room is on the 9 floor and facing very closely to the next building which I felt a little watched. The hotel has a gym and a semi heated indoor pool and sauna which is lovely, you can go anytime without checking the weather. Trams just right below and eateries around, very convenient. On our last day, it was raining and Desmond went beyond and above to shelter us with umbrella to our cab. I had a good deal with the platform I booked with and I think it was value for money for us and we enjoyed ourselves at the hotel. Highly recommend :)

Not recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy. Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections. Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment. None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests. FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building. The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful. In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross. I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind. The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.

The white cabin No. 5 arranged for us this time I like it very much! It’s different from the others. Only this small white wooden house is elevated~~~ There was no service staff when I arrived. I had to go to the service counter, call and give my name, and someone would explain the room. When I went there, there was an old couple next door. They were so cute. Haha, they even said hello to me. There are no cars or people on the road there at night and it’s very quiet! It’s very comfortable to sleep in and there’s an electric blanket. You can find a place nearby to watch the stars. It’s super beautiful. The only small drawback is that there are always small flying insects in the toilet. However, Australia’s biodiversity is a relatively remote place, so I can accept it! I will definitely stay again next time I go there

A very ordinary apartment with average view and old facilities. A two-bedroom apartment costs RMB 1,500 per night, which is RMB 300 in China.

In order to make it easier to live near the Great Ocean Road Skydiving the next day, first-class facilities, independent villas, living room kitchen on the first floor, large rooms with balcony on the second floor, parking is free at the door, very convenient, just a few steps to carry luggage, front desk The staff is very enthusiastic. It should be noted that the check-in time is before 8 pm. I wanted to check in later, but the telephone reception said that I must arrive before 8 pm, which is not very convenient. Otherwise, the front desk will be late for check-in.

The location is fabulous. Walking distance to 2 train stops which can take you to the city, to St Kilda and beyond, to Docklands. Southern Cross Station is only a 6-min walk and there is 7-11 and a few kebab restaurants along the street. Room is spacious and comfortable. There is no housekeeping; only a towel change. Kitchen is fully equipped if you need to cook and I like having a washer/dryer during my stay. My negatives about my stay is that there is no hair dryer provided and toilet sink has mold in the corners (which is quite a put off). I was on the 16th floor so had no issues with noise from the trains/trams. Overall, a good stay and great service from the front desk staff!

The room was not bad except the microwave in the room was quite dirty and one of the stoves was broken in our room and we asked multiple times for it to be fixed but it wasn’t. The gym was very small. There is no hotel parking available but there are car parks nearby the hotel.  It was very convenient that there was a Woolsworth located next to the building.

I encountered one of the worst hotel services at the front desk of this hotel when I stayed here for 6 nights. On 10 Dec at 8pm, I was charged 3 times by the washing machine in this hotel for a single wash. I approached the front desk for help and a male employee of Indian descent told me the washing machines in the hotel do not belong to the hotel and he does not know which company owns them or whom I can call on this charging error. I asked him can he write a statement on a piece of paper to say I approached him for help on this issue so I can file a duplication charge with my credit card company? He refused and said I cannot quote him on anything (yes, he said the word ”ANYTHING”). Neither did he went to take a look at the machine in case another guest suffered the same fate. He just stood there and look totally unconcerned. Basically he didn't want to help or even want to appear to help a hotel guest in distress. He also does not back up whatever he says. This experience with this person really sour up my whole staying experience at his hotel even though I encountered some helpful and hardworking check in and housekeeping staff during my stay.

I recently stayed at Avani Melbourne Central and had an excellent experience overall. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Melbourne, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. I was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary room upgrade, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The residence was modern, spacious, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The only drawback was the additional cost for cleaning services during the stay, which I feel could have been included, especially for longer visits. That aside, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were top-notch. I would highly recommend Avani Melbourne Central for its convenience, comfort, and excellent service.
