The overall environment is good and suitable for multiple guests. Outside, there's a mountain view and next to it is a school. You can check in yourself in advance. What was really frustrating was the completely self-service nature, including problems in the room that the hotel couldn't address promptly. Also, if you don't close the door at night, a lot of insects come in, as shown in picture one.

I really love this accommodation. The room is filled with heater! On the floor, the tiles, even on the bed. Best part is the balcony view is gorgeous. I’d come back to stay again if I have the chance to. front desk lady is nice too! Knowing that I’m solo traveler pulling a big luggage, she was very helpful in helping me to bring it all the way up to level 2 via stairs. There is a bus stop just 150m away so you can just drop it off there from Salzburg or Hallstatt. Was so lucky to see a beautiful sunrise. Instantly brightens my morning. :)

Everything was perfect except that we had check-in at another hotel which is about 5 mins drive from where we booked. It would be nice to give us an information beforehand not surprise us by a little note on the property and told us to follow the location. There was no parking spot at all at the hotel we had to check-in. Good thing that I wasn't a solo traveller. I can't imagine how I could check-in since the check-in location is far from walking distance and there wasn't a spot to park at the check-in location.

The hotel is located in the town of Obertraun, 5 kilometers away from the town of Hallstatt. You can walk there, take a train for 2.8 euros, and then take a ferry. You can also ride a bicycle (free of charge) or take a taxi. The hotel owner lives upstairs in the cottage. The first floor is for accommodation. It is clean and hygienic. You can cook. There is a sauna room. The bedroom can accommodate 3-4 people. The scenery is beautiful and the room owner is enthusiastic, but remember to check out at 10 o'clock the next day. Overall very good.

The room is spacious, one bedroom and one living room, and the cooking tools in the room are very complete. The owner is very good. Since the day of departure is Sunday, there are very few bus shifts. I helped to make an appointment for a taxi. I went to Bade Ishe for 50 euros. It took 20 minutes to arrive. I slept for an extra hour.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, and the service was excellent! I especially loved the large bathtub; even at 161cm, I had plenty of room to relax and unwind 🫧. They also provided dishes, cooking utensils, a sofa bed, and heating, which was all great. They even prepared a present for us! 🥺🥺

We had a very pleasant time. The room was amazing. The only problem was the hairdryer which was defected.

A fantastic guesthouse! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and cozy. The scenery along the way was beautiful, making for a very comfortable stay. The view on the way down to Hallstatt was absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!!!

The room is large and the decoration is grand and modern. There is a kitchen and kitchenware so you can cook your own meals. It is very convenient to check in and check out independently. Suitable for family vacation stay.

At the beginning, I didn’t care to check in by myself. I kept on the entrance to the door. I tried to call and no one listened. Finally, I called 3 or 4 times to inform the password to open the key. The locals told the department to open the cabinet. The room was hygienic. The bed was also very big and the location was very convenient.
