Doraemon was my favourite television show when I was younger. I have read many of the mangas, scrambled to watch the series when it was played on tv program channel 8 in Singapore every weekend and watched many of its movies when they were released. Therefore, when this exhibition was announced I immediately bought tickets and it did not disappoint. The exhibition showcased the creative writing and creation process of the many funny, loving and sad stories/movies that that led the the many famous Doraemon mangas, series and movies. It also showcased the many loved and famous characters like nobita, shizuka, gian and suneo as well as the iconic locations in the series such as Nobia and Doraemon's House and room, and the classroom of the school where the kids studied. At one part of the exhibition, you can even purchase Doraemon's favourite food: Dorayaki!!!! It was super heavenly and delicious. If you love Doraemon as much as I do, when you were a child and still do, do head down to National museum of Singapore to relive your memories again. Visit to the National Museum turned out to be so enriching as the latest exhibition took us back to the past with notable & memorable memories of the gadgets, sights & sounds used in the past era. Am so glad to be part of the generation that experienced some of the heydays prior to the millennial change. Great experience for the young & old, ends on 31 Oct 2022. Many chances for photo-taking and interactive mini games to blast yourself to the past and be fully immersed on how life was like back then. The National Museum of Singapore is the oldest museum in Singapore. Its history dates back to 1849, making it one of the 'veterans' among many venues, and it is also the largest museum in Singapore. The most experiential is the Animal and Plant Image Museum, a super long image gallery.
