位于北京延庆，地貌形成于第四纪冰川时期，经过万年的风雨冲刷形成了现在的特殊赤黄色的地质地貌，保存着原始的自然生态植被。一路沿着游览路线蜿蜒而上，会看到很多元代的土窟人物雕像，仿佛诉说着真实厚重的历史：公元1272年，元代建都于中原的大都（今北京市）。元代第四位皇帝元仁宗就是出生在延庆的。

今天去了元代谷，景色不错，有点象黄土高原的景色，只是小多了。其他都是人造景观。
