The biggest feature here is that the tower is not solid, and there is a maze-like visit line inside. The maze is covered by gold leaves and displays precious gold and silver Buddha statues.More
Walking in the golden maze inside the stupa is a good experience. In the golden labyrinth and Buddha's relics, detailed explanations of the history of the pagoda are displayed, and a large number of gold and silver relics are also displayed. These can be viewed by tourists up close. Although you are monitored by security cameras, you are not closely followed by security. You can even meditate in the pagoda. Out of the maze, you will have a better understanding of the history of Buddhist temples and pagodas. One of the benefits is that you can see the Buddha's hair relics in the pagoda and the tooth relics next to the pagoda up close. Tourists need to pay 6,000 kyats and put their shoes on the shoe rack marked "Foreigners Only"!! Free. Kkkkk
very good place and clean the pagoda are too attractive and it colour shine like a diamond
it reminds me of the stories of what happened some years ago. you will see the pagoda and alot of old pictures.
A beautiful stop downtown and near the river, Botatoung also has a huge golden stupa but far less of the crowds you'll get at the other stupas.
