[Botao Tower], also known as the Thousand Buddha Pagoda, was built at the same time as the Sule Pagoda. It was bombed by the Royal Air Force in 1943 and rebuilt in the second half of the 20th century. During the reconstruction, many cultural relics and jewelry dating back more than 2,000 years were discovered. Visitors can enter the pagoda to view the preserved secret rooms. It is said that the thousand Buddhas escorted from India were buried here.
