Elizabeth ND Ko2nd Key Pagoda in Yangon - Sule Pagoda
#createwithtrip to Yangon, beside going to Shwedagon Pagoda, one must also visit Sule Pagoda. While it is not as big and impressive as the former, Sule Pagoda is still beautiful and serene. It’s an easy site to navigate and definitely less crowded and touristic.
It is located at Junction of Sule Pagoda Road, မဟာဗန္ဓုလလမ်း, Yangon 11141, Myanmar (Burma), sort of in the middle of a “roundabout”, one has to be careful crossing the road to the main gate.
once in, take you time to walk around and explore. As no shoes are allowed, it’s good to bring along a small bag to keep your shoes with you so you don’t need to go back to the same door to exit and have a hard time to find your shoes.

Cruise The WorldMust Visit Site in Myanmar -Shwedagon
#createwithtrip to the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar, Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon. It is believed that the construction started 2,500 years ago, which would make it the oldest Buddhist stupa in the world. The stupa was built to house relics of Buddha.
Best time to visit is an hour before sunset as the place does not have much sheltered areas and it can get quite hot in the afternoon. Plan for 1.5 hours for your visit, it’s great to sit and watch the world goes by while waiting for the pagoda to be at it’s most beautiful moment during sunset. It’s very calming place too.

i can really say that this trip was the most memorable. i went to myanmar last 2019 because i got curious whenever my colleagues will talk about the country. i was nervous to travel in this place at first but when i got there, i felt so comfortable. the people are so kind and charming. food and transportation are cheap! tourist spots/temples are not crowded. i love temples and masjids so thats the main reason why i went here. i have a complete and detailed itinerary. ❤️ i will visit Myanmar again soon.
