There are several parks in the north and south of the Yarra River, and on the south side is Kings Park. In the past, this place used to be a farm, a brick yard, a garbage dump, and a slum. After many changes, it showed its current beautiful appearance in 1930. There are green spaces, botanical gardens, uncultivated forests, various birds and western wildflowers in the park. Every September, Kings Park hosts Australia's largest wild flower exhibition. The large park is divided into Alexander Park (Akexanda Gardens), Queen Victoria Park (QueenVictoria Garden), Sydney Myer Music Bowl (SydneyMyerMusicBowl), Victorian Governor's Residence and other areas.
