Tickets 🎟️ are free, but items cannot be stored. If you are a materialist warrior, you can really appreciate this artistic treasure. There are also many beautiful postcards at the exit that are worth entering (personal hobby)
Learning history from architecture is a very interesting thing, especially with this dome style design, which is very grand!
have always loved the creation of glass artworks in the Catholic Church, because the paintings add the blessing of sunlight, giving them a completely different beauty and appearing sacred

Puffing Billy Railway 🚂 Melbourne 🇦🇺
#australiatrip
The Puffenbury steam train 🚂 is the only steam train still in operation in the world, traveling from Belgrave to Gembrook in the densely vegetated Danton Mountains.
The Puffenbury Railway was built in 1900, mainly serving local mountain ⛰️ residents, transporting passengers, wood, plants, and more. At that time, a total of four narrow gauge railways were built, and the Puffenbili Railway was the most well preserved one among them.
🚂Fun facts:
1. When riding, tourists can hang their legs on the open side of the antique carriage and experience the way they used to ride the Puffenbury steam train. Driving is really joyful and exciting! (Although my hands froze when I came down 😹
2. The drivers of vehicles and residents of the town who pass by along the way will greet us warmly
3. You must take the right seat on the way to get a full picture of the train

I totally get what you mean about Melbourne - it's packed with so much to explore! 🌆 Unlike Sydney, it doesn't leave that sense of emptiness. The vibrant scenery here is just captivating. 🎨 There are loads of churches around, but as someone who's not religious, most seem superficial. Only a few truly stand out, like this church I deeply adore. 🏰 Its spontaneous aura is quite intense, yet being inside brings a sense of peace and calm. 🕊️ Maybe it was the perfect weather that day, or the people around, everything felt so atmospheric and memorable. If you're into visiting churches, you should definitely check out this one - St. Patrick's, the tallest Gothic Catholic church in the southern hemisphere! 🌟

A Melbourne Coffee Odyssey: Exploring the Rich Aromas of Rumble Coffee Roasters
In the bustling city of Melbourne, known for its vibrant coffee culture, lies a hidden gem that is a must-visit for all coffee enthusiasts: Rumble Coffee Roasters. Located off the beaten path on Thompson Road, this roastery has garnered a high reputation among coffee lovers, and for good reason.
The area, bustling with numerous coffee roasters, can be a bit of a maze, but Rumble’s location, while not the most conveniently situated, is easily accessible with the help of Google Maps. Visitors should be mindful of ongoing road construction in the area.
Upon entering the roastery, the first thing that strikes you is the intense aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans. The roasting process at Rumble is an art form, carried out with precision and professionalism. They utilize computer-controlled systems to ensure the temperature and roasting procedures are meticulously managed, guaranteeing the quality of their coffee.
The shop manager introduced me to their festival mix – a unique blend of beans from Kenya, Colombia, and the extraordinary Geisha!!!!
With coffee being a seasonal product, dependent on yearly harvests, this blend is a rare treat for the palate. Intrigued by the prospect of such a unique flavor profile, I decided to purchase some as Christmas gifts, anticipating the delightful surprise it would bring with its limited edition taste.
Rumble is a certified B-Corporation as well as a 1% for the Planet business.

A Hidden Coffee Gem on Bourke Street: Exquisite Brews and Gourmet Delights Await
Nestled in the bustling heart of Melbourne at 565 Bourke Street, I found a gem of a cafe, introduced to me by my barista friends. This award-winning coffee roasting haven is a paradise for coffee enthusiasts like myself.
Upon entering, the cafe's vibrant ambiance and the rich aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans immediately captivated me. The highlight of my visit was trying their batch coffee of the day, the "Columba La Divisa." This exquisite brew, with its distinct sugarcane aromas, was a delightful surprise. Priced at only $5, it offered an exceptional value for its quality.
But what truly sets this cafe apart is not just its coffee. The food menu was astonishingly gorgeous, presenting a variety of dishes at very reasonable prices. Each item complemented the coffee offerings perfectly, making it a splendid spot for a fulfilling meal.
For the coffee aficionado, the "Columba Fajardo" of the Gesha variety is a must-try. Priced at Only $25. This particular coffee is a testament to the cafe's commitment to quality and its ability to offer something special for every visitor.
Whether you're a local or just passing through Melbourne, this coffee roasting cafe is a must-visit destination. It's a place where coffee is not just a beverage; it's an experience, an art form celebrated with every cup.

The majestic State Library of Victoria
The majestic State Library of Victoria in the heart of Melbourne is a must-visit for any bibliophile or architecture enthusiast. As one of the first sights that greeted me in the city, its imposing façade and domed roof demand attention. Venturing inside, I was amazed by the sheer scale of the place - over 2 million books spread across multiple floors open to the public. The highlight is undoubtedly the grand reading room, with its soaring ceilings and rows of long wooden tables under a glittering stained glass dome. It's easy to imagine the ghosts of scholars past hunched studiously over their work.
Yet the library also manages to blend 19th century grandeur with modern technology seamlessly. While preserving its heritage, there are now computers and wifi access scattered throughout for digital-age visitors. The addition of a children's garden and play area make it family-friendly too. Beyond the books, there are interesting temporary exhibitions to enjoy as well as the fascinating Cowen Gallery chronicling the library's history since it opened in 1854.
Don't miss experiencing one of Melbourne's top free attractions for yourself. Come armed with your camera to capture the beautiful architecture. Pick a table in the magnificent reading room, whispering almost feels forbidden! Wander through the shelves or get lost in the non-fiction depths. With knowledgeable staff, accessible resources, and inviting spaces, the State Library offers a little slice of bookish heaven in Victoria's capital.

Hidden Cozy Studio at St. Kilda, Melbourne
With such high increase in rent prices in Australia, finding a place to stay that is still within budget and located not too far from CBD is a real task! ESPECIALLY if you’re looking for more than 1 month stay. Hotels are crazy expensive and most affordable units are located so far away in suburb.
I found this unit at Monmarte Apartment through Pearl Apartment, and with the price, the location was just perfect for my stay.

Melbourne’s Iconic Colorful Bathing Boxes
#melbournetrip #visitmelbourne #melbourne #australia
It’s winter time here Down Under but that means the beach is not as crowded as usual. It was a sunny 15 degree Celcius and I got myself out to Brighton Beach to check out those iconic colorful bathing boxes! It was relatively easy to get there with public bus, 5-10 minutes walk from the stop, and you’ll get there!
As it is the only things to see at Brighton Beach, 15-30 minutes are probably enough if you don’t need to take photo on each of those boxes. You can head to some cafes around, just make sure to be there before 3PM because the cafes close early.
How to Get There : drive, take taxi, or take public Bus 600, 922 or 923 (pay attention to the schedule though, it only comes every 20-30mins)

Different parts of Melbourne Central
Melbourne central with many different shops to offers, many objects to appreciate, and last but not least is that it is easily accessible by train. Most of the photos were just some of the uniqueness of the place has to offer. You have to look closely to find all of them. Especially the clock, you must get the timing right to see the little concert. Almost forgot another word of advice if you plan to go to the escape room experience there, don't forget to bring something that can help identify your age cause if you don't you can't get in. Just like me. 🥲

It is a nice and beautiful place to be and a must visit place if you ever come to Melbourne. It was on my Melbourne checklist, so one down. I heard that sometimes you got to see a proposal happen in there that gotta be fun to see 😄. My biggest regret after visiting is that I don't have enough time to savor all the surroundings or maybe just to sit down and read a book. I go there on my last day, and the time is cutting close for my flight. well, on the bright side, I still have more stuff I want to see in there.

Hipster and Cultural Melbourne
Melbourne is one of Australia's main cities and boasts all the conveniences of a city.
It is however a city that is marked with culture and vibes, as evidenced in this city oozing with culturally beautiful attractions. It seems as if every corner of this city is therefore an Instagram worthy moment.
You'll find monumental victorian buildings whose exteriors are just as stunning as their interiors. Various alleys around the city will amaze you with their meticulous art and graffiti.
Finally don't forget to leave without trying Melbourne's famous coffee, which is done right. Its food scene is also to die for; you'll find fusions and blends of all delicious food!

South Melbourne Market - a Vibrant Place
#visitmelbourne #melbourne #australia #urbanexplorer
So you’ve visited Queen Victoria Market, but have you checked out South Melbourne Market?
I personally love the vibes and variety of foods and stuffs sold here. The fresh produce is not as cheap as in QVM but the whole atmosphere makes up for it. I enjoyed walking around the market more than I so at QVM. They also have a nice touch on each entrance: adding “welcome” in several different languages! They sure are going to make everyone feels welcomed!

Melbourne Ozzie tour for passenger princesses
Philips island tour
Booked a tour on klook for my friends and i as we could not drive. The tour did not disappoint and we had tons of fun.
The order of the locations are in order of the tour.
1. Brighton Bathing Boxes
Address - Brighton beach, Victoria, Australia
Highlights - Famous brighton beach houses that locals own to keep surf items. The houses were really pretty but overall abit underwhelming.
Rating - 2/5
ps:
Its worth visiting for a photo but it is not a priority as all we saw were decorative surf houses and nothing more. This place is just photography spot.
2. Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park
Address - 550 Tyabb-Tooradin Rd, Pearcedale VIC 3912, Australia
Highlights - The kolas were amazingly cute. Got a really cute selfie with the kolas and also saw a variety of native animals.
The best part of this sanctuary is that you get to feed kangaroos and wallabies along a path.
Rating - 4.5/5
ps: i paid $25 for the kola selfie and also $$ for the food to feed the animals.
3. Nobbies center
Address:
Highlights: The view is amazing. Like actually amazing. You also get to see little penguins in the burrows and also wallabies and kangaroos along the way if you are lucky enough.
4. Philips island penguin parade
Address - 1019 Ventnor Rd, Summerlands VIC 3922, Australia
Highlights - Watching the little penguins emerge from the water, waddle their way up the slope and back to their homes was the best thing ever.
ps:
(1) The rules at the penguin parade has changed. No flash photography or photos as it has been acknowledged and scientifically proven that these actions has significantly affected the penguins. Australia has really strict animal conservation laws and the rangers are also really strict and would remove you from your seat if they catch you taking photos.
(2) Dont waste money buying expensive penguin tickets. The general tickets are enough as the penguins would walk jnto their burrows which are along the broad walk so you can see them up close.
Rating- 4/5
Overall i love the tour. The tour guide and tour company is really good, they pick you up from your selected hotel in Melbourne’s CBD and drop u off at the same location after.

A serene sanctuary for Catholics (or everyone really) that goes all the way back to the 1800s. Imagine Melbourne’s growth that this church has seen in more than 200 years! The building is iconic with the black bricks, rather similar to those churches in Dublin and some part of UK.
Mass times stated below, but they are always open for visitors who just want to escape to the quiet spot away from the busy city, lit some candles and pray.
Address - 1 Cathedral Pl, East Melbourne, Australia
Mass Time:
- Monday to Friday: 7am and 1pm
- Saturday 8am and 6pm (Vigil Mass)

Follow the crowd when you’re there. I noticed a very long queue and they were all queuing for a $1 bags of veggies. Can’t buy those at supermarkets for sure!
Address - Queen St, Melbourne, Australia

You may only think of summer when you see beaches, but apparently it can be beautiful in winter, too! Staying not too far to St Kilda beach this time, I have the pleasure to do some morning or afternoon walks along the shore and it is peacefully satisfying.
Not to mention it is where The Esplanade Sunday market is located. So if you’re in Melbourne, give this beach a visit! Plenty of restaurants nearby, too.
How to Get There - take Tram 96 / 16 / 12 / 3a from CBD stops at The Esplanade. A$4.60.
