Dengyaolin: My friends and I decided to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with a staycation at the Sofitel Foshan, and it was absolutely perfect! The biggest highlight of the hotel is its 'what you see is what you can buy' concept – all the soft furnishings and furniture throughout the hotel are exquisite, high-end, and stylish, yet timeless. The location is incredibly convenient; you can step right downstairs and explore large furniture exhibition halls, making it perfect for both relaxation and browsing home decor. It's especially great for a casual get-together with friends. I must give a special shout-out to Nicole from Guest Relations in the lobby. Her service was gentle and professional, and her attitude was exceptional. She was patient and thorough during check-in, and the check-out process was quick and efficient. The entire experience was hassle-free and smooth, which was incredibly pleasant. The hotel's security staff are also very responsible, with regular patrols and well-managed entry/exit procedures, making the overall environment safe and secure. The room was clean, tidy, and offered a luxurious and comfortable ambiance. Our short Mid-Autumn Festival stay was very enjoyable, and it's definitely a place worth returning to!

The room was spacious with a wonderful, expansive balcony. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety with plenty of options. Jessica cui: The room is overall bright, airy, and meticulously cleaned. The bedding is fluffy and soft, and the blackout curtains work wonderfully. It was so quiet at night that I slept soundly until morning, making for a very comfortable stay. The wet and dry separation in the bathroom is fantastic, with strong water pressure and instant hot water from the shower. The toiletries are fully provided, and the countertop is kept dry without any water stains—great attention to detail.

The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The biggest surprise was finding a washing machine and a kitchenette in the room – the facilities were exceptionally comprehensive. The large-screen TV also offered an excellent viewing experience. Guest User: Excellent hotel with a prime location, within walking distance to Zumiao Temple, Lingnan Tiandi, and Huiji Dessert. Being on a high floor, we had a panoramic view of Foshan city. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the hygiene was top-notch. The breakfast was also rich and varied. I highly recommend trying Huiji Dessert! It's a dessert shop hidden in the old town, full of local charm and serving delicious desserts for just 4.5 yuan. Haha.

Aixiongshi: Let's just say this is, without a doubt, the worst Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed at. Facilities: Everything is old and rundown. The walls are stained and clearly neglected. The front desk is located in a dark, narrow hallway, and the air smells stale and musty. Hygienics: Just mediocre. The towels aren't ironed after washing; they're either hung up or stacked, all wrinkled. The toiletries included cheap, soft plastic combs, the kind I haven't seen in nearly a decade. Service: Aside from having to ask a staff member to change my room because the first one was in terrible condition upon check-in, there was practically no service. The breakfast staff, however, were 'diligent.' In a relatively small dining area, there were five or six servers. I was traveling alone and got up to grab a coffee, and by the time I returned, all my cutlery and plates had been cleared. There were clearly other guests sitting near my spot, and they could see I had just started eating. Couldn't they have at least asked before clearing everything? Honestly, I'm speechless. This hotel has absolutely no redeeming qualities, except for its proximity to the subway station!

This time, I changed my approach and planned a relaxing staycation at the Longju Hotel in Shunde. I could explore Shunde's flavors while enjoying a proper vacation. Walking here, you can feel the intertwining of history and modernity. This area was originally Foshan's old town, and after restoration and renovation, it has become the comprehensive tourist attraction it is today, integrating culture, tourism, and commerce. It blends tradition and modernity, offering a wide variety of food options, from traditional Lingnan snacks to modern restaurants. We had dinner at a local restaurant inside, and the food was delicious, authentic, and satisfying. After our meal, we continued strolling around, buying some souvenirs. Many of the souvenirs at the stalls were handmade by the owners, showing their thoughtfulness. We also bought snacks and local drinks to enjoy as we walked, creating a lively atmosphere. There's also a very attractive clock tower here, one of the iconic buildings of Lingnan Xintiandi. Its design is inspired by traditional Lingnan pavilions and clock tower culture. It's antique and elegant during the day, and even more solemn and romantic when lit up at night. The clock tower is not only a great place for taking photos, but also symbolizes the historical continuation of Foshan's old city. Inside Xintiandi, you can also find some modern brand stores, such as Miniso. This is a chain store known for its affordable daily necessities and creative items. It has many practical and cute products, from home goods to stationery and accessories. It's a relaxing place to shop, and also suitable for buying small gifts or things you need for your trip. The surrounding area is also very lively. Besides the restaurants and bars inside Xintiandi, there are many shops outside where you can sit down and have a drink or a snack. Melv MahI think 300 yuan per person is great value for money. It includes a free cable car ride for a panoramic view of the entire park, and a free mini-train ride for a close-up look at the animals on the African savanna – you get to see everything from different angles. We also spent 300 yuan to drive through the park and get a more intimate look at the animals – a very immersive experience. It wasn't the weekend, so it wasn't too crowded. The park staff were very responsible in their explanations. We also ordered a three-person set meal inside the park, which was a bit pricey, but reasonable for the park's price.
