Jeju Travel Guide

Located in the north of Jeju Island, Jeju City is the seat of government of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. This famous South Korean travel destination sits in the northern foothills of Hallasan, the highest mountain in South Korea. Jeju City's tourism industry is extremely developed because of its location as a transportation hub. Major tourist attractions within the city include the volcano Seongsan IIchulbong (“Sunrise Peak”); Samsungheyol, where the mythical demigod founders of Jeju emerged from the earth; and Hallasan National Park.

I came a bit earlier to Jeju airport because I wanted to have Egg Drop for lunch. This is a popular sandwich shop as there are seatings area for the Jeju airport branch. You will use the self service kiosk to order and collect it when the staff page for your number. They are poplar for their scrambled eggs style sandwich. I ordered a set meal and an extra sandwich. Their bacon and turkey versions are also popular if you are a meat lover. Their eggs are fluffy and they added sugar to the toast too. It is great for a quick meal. #wheretogo #southkorea #seoul #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

I did not use the car after I park it so that I can explore the Jeju city area within Shin Shin hotel. There are many shopping centers here and even Lotte Mart is here too. It is very easy to walk and all the streets here on lay out nicely on a grid line. There is not much alleys here compared to Seoul. It is also easy to run errands here with many of the big brands and services available. There are bicycle sharing here and also many schools. This place get so crowded once the students finish school. I managed to find a Starbucks and took a break before continuing shopping. #wheretogo #southkorea #seoul #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

Right next to Jeju Museum of Art is the Jeju Love Land Museum, another interesting museum for adults. They are also updating their exhibits and not open for public. But it was ok for me to enter and the staff said it was ok. This Jeju Love Museum has been around since 1970s n it was catered for education purposes due to the lack of education syllabus in schools. This museum is still in operation and the garden also got expanded and you can even rent the function hall for events too. The entire museum will need some time to complete the exploration so be prepared for at least 1 hour here. #wheretogo #southkorea #seoul #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

They have the most unique and loveliest Hallasan Mountain cake. There are also instructions for you to follow to create the volcano eruption. You will start by sprinkling the rock cookies around the cake and use the white melting chocolate into the center of the mountain. Then you use the knife to slice if through. Be sure to capture all of this in your videos. I also order their special local jeju tangerine tea, it is so good. Every cake here is design with Jeju’s landscape and created with local ingredients. There are so many to try and I feel like I have to come back soon. #wheretogo #southkorea #seoul #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

There are no reasons why you should not visit this café, this is Jeju House Cafe which is in the same area as the tea museum. It is a spacious air-conditioned cafe with plenty of sunlight. You can choose to sit indoor and outdoor. The cafe is self-service and you will place order at the counter and collect a buzzer. Once your buzzer is called then you can collect your orders. There are plenty of photo spots and props are provided too. The entire cafe is very aesthetic and many plants for decoration too. You can use your international card here for payment. #wheretogo #southkorea #seoul #liveyourdreams #takethattrip
