KKKamilia: The hotel's location is excellent, and transportation is very convenient. The room facilities are great, and the room itself is very clean and tidy. The mattress is soft and comfortable, and the hot water comes quickly. Everything is well-equipped. Breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. The service is very good and attentive, with a great attitude. I look forward to staying here again. The service attitude is excellent, and the hotel style is nice with comprehensive facilities. The lobby is spacious, and the front desk service is great and thoughtful, making check-in quick. The room is clean and tidy, the internet is strong, and the bed is large. The bathroom is clean, and the shower is comfortable. The housekeeping staff are friendly and proactive in greeting guests. Parking is convenient with a large parking lot, and laundry facilities with dryers are handy. Fantastic!

Suzy 33: The hotel itself was clean and renovated few years ago. It did has one elevator and few steps to get into the front desk. Only thing noone talk about the hotel located in the old town. There was different size of cobblestone, it was extremely difficult to walk with luggage. After check in and leave your luggage in the room, you felt great. Personally I felt like a workout for me. Remember you nees to get in and out though the norrow alley which did not have the hotel sign. Make sure whatever app you use can bring you to this hotel. It was closed to the Rhine River and a lot of restaurants around. You can see the church and the river cruise all walkable distance. Please wear very good pair of shoes. Overall was a good stayed.

Guest User: The hotel's cleanliness was okay, but not great. The facilities were very old, and what really bothered me was that the showerhead holder was broken. When I was showering, the whole showerhead fell off and hit my shoulder. If it had hit my head, I probably would have ended up in the hospital. I had a bruise on my shoulder the next day. I complained to the service desk the next day, but the front desk staff seemed indifferent. I'm very dissatisfied with their service.

Guest User: Apartment is very new and its a short walk to the Cologne cathedral and christmas markets. It is easy to find eateries in the vicinity and supermarket is close by too. I had a problem with the key card as if cannot be used to open the door, had to wait for IT guy from other site to get to at for 2 hours. Once resolved all went well.

The S-Bahn commuter train takes 15 minutes to reach the central station directly. The 43-meter-high Gothic vaulted ceiling allows sunlight to stream through the massive stained-glass windows, filling the floor with colorful light and shadows. From a Roman military camp to a medieval pilgrimage site, from a hub of the Ruhr industrial region to an international exhibition city, Cologne has always embraced diversity and multiculturalism. 🌞 Morning: A Stroll Through Time in the Old Town Stop 1: Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) The morning sun gilds the twin towers, and the 157m spires take your breath away. Rent an audio guide for EUR 2 and listen to interesting stories about the construction process—such as medieval craftsmen using goatskin to transport water, and Napoleon turning the top of the tower into a stable. Climb the 533 steps of the South Tower, feel the wind whistling in your ears, and take in the panoramic view of the Rhine Valley. You won't be able to stop snapping photos with your phone. Stop 2: Historical Trail in the Old Town Turn right along Domhofplatz, and the half-timbered houses on both sides of the cobblestone road seem to tell medieval stories. When passing St. Martin Church, you might catch an organ rehearsal, where ethereal music penetrates the stained glass, giving you goosebumps. A city famous for its churches European Cup Cologne Red and Black Raiders
There was a two-day break between the European Cup group stage and the knockout rounds, and I took advantage of these two days to come to Cologne. It turns out that this city can be almost visited in half a day, and the cathedral drives the tourism industry of the entire city. Cologne is also one of the host cities for this European Cup. Writing this article is also a reference for friends who want to watch football or visit the cathedral in the future. Cologne Cathedral Treasure Hall: Student ticket is 3.5 euros. You can see many very exquisite artifacts, but you are not allowed to take pictures. Perfume Museum: The ticket price is 8 euros. It mainly talks about the origin and development history of the first bottle of cologne in the world. The content is quite satisfactory. But at the end, each person can get a 6 ml bottle of perfume sample. Heumarkt Fanzone: Limited to the period of the European Cup, you can watch live matches, participate in European Cup-related activities and games, and buy Cologne city-limited refrigerator magnets that are only available during the European Cup. Hohenzollern Bridge: Couples will hang concentric locks symbolizing love, as shown in Figure P12. Under the bridge is also the best vantage point for Cologne Cathedral in summer. You can take pictures of the church under the sunset, as shown in Figure 9-11. The specific seats are: P9: Geodätischer Referenzpunkt P10: Rheinufer P11: Equestrian Statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I 🖤Black list Cologne Cathedral Tower Top Observation Deck: Student ticket is 3 euros, but you need to climb 500 steps on foot. Cologne is not a very big city, and if you don’t take pictures of the cathedral itself, the skyline is unremarkable. Chocolate Museum: The ticket price is 12 euros. You can taste some chocolate. It is more suitable for children, but it is boring for adults. Kath. Kirche Christi Auferstehung: Brutalist architecture, which looks unremarkable when photographed, as shown in Figure P13. It is a certain distance from the core tourist area in the city, so there is no need to go there. Triangle Building Observation Deck (summer): Tickets are 5 euros. The sun sets at 22:00 in Cologne summer and the observation deck closes at 20:00. Photos of the city skyline taken here in summer are basically overexposed. If you come, it is recommended to come in winter.

老少皆宜（）Duftmuseum im Farina-Haus
This was a unique experience! Farina is the original Eau de Colonge, and the tour is in the origianl house. (The factory moved out of the city center.) Our tour guide was Weibke, who did a wonderful pesentation in English. She is very knowledgable, and explained a lot of historical facts. The museum is small, but packed with a lot of antiques and information. I was glad that I didn't buy the other brand of colonge at the Cathedral, since 4711 it is not the original

The galleries are enormous and many areas flooded with light. It is a pleasure to walk round. Interpretive material in English and German, the emphasis being to put the artworks in historical context, grouped by 'movement'. The collection is based on two private donations. Admission expensive with no reduction for pensioners, but worth the charge for the Picasso, the Russian avant-garde and Max Beckmann. There is a really excellent bookshop with many books in English.
Sheda11Hohenzollern Bridge
The classic photo that is often seen is the photo of the Hohenzollern Bridge and the Cologne Cathedral. Walking eastward along the Cologne Cathedral, you will come to the bridge. There are sidewalks and bicycle lanes on both sides of the bridge, and a railway track in the middle. Walking on the bridge, trains will pass by on the middle track from time to time. Standing in the middle of the bridge or on the west bank of the bridge is a better viewing position. On the side of the sidewalk close to the track, there are colorful and dense love locks. It is said that if you hang a lock on the Hohenzollern Bridge and throw the key into the Rhine River, love will last forever, so many locals and tourists who come here to admire it have their own and their loved ones’ names engraved on the locks and left on this bridge.
