An Interesting Shrine
It is on the main road between Sengakuji and Shinagawa and closer to Sengakuji station. The area and street are not that impressive but the Shrine is.Just up around the corner is the Sengakuji Temple ...

Takanawa Shrine on a hill that goes up the stairs from Daiichi Keihin is the total guardian of the Takanawa area. It was founded in the middle of the Muromachi Meio era and is a shrine dedicated to Inari, Hachiman, and Sarutahiko. The annual festival seems to be held in great numbers, and two magnificent portable shrines were displayed in the precincts.
It is a small shrine surrounded by buildings, but once you step into the precincts, you will feel strangely quiet. It is a valuable place where you can pray in a chartered state.
It is a shrine located in Takanawa 2-chome along Daiichi Keihin. It is said to have been built in the middle of Muromachi. Many rikiishi were left in the precincts.
I'm a little hesitant to pay how much I pay because I'm careful about paying the red stamp. I thought it was the same because Shinagawa Shrine was 300 yen, but I paid it comfortably because there was only 500 yen coins in my wallet (^^)
