Signal coverage
• Signal coverage: Japan
• Operator: SoftBank
1. Coverage is available throughout the country. Signals are weaker in suburban and mountainous areas. The quality of Internet access will be affected by factors such as location, terrain, building shielding, and weather.
2. Because each telecom operator has its own telecom blind spots, the network will not be permanent 4G (LTE) or 5G, and will change depending on the current signal strength and your phone reception.

FAQ:
1. Why isn't there a path to "Add a Cellular Number," "Join a Mobile Plan," or "Join a Mobile Service Plan"?
A: Please confirm whether your phone/device supports the eSIM function.
Query method: Dial *#06# on the phone interface. Generally, if there is an EID, it means eSIM is supported. If there is no EID, eSIM cannot be used.
***Not compatible with watches and tablets***
2. Why can't eSIM be added?
If the phone is a card-locked device, it cannot be used.
How to check: Check with your carrier to see if your device is SIM-locked.
iPhone, please check if there is a description file
If there is a description file, please delete it (check steps: Settings -> General -> Device Management, scroll to the bottom, if there is no description file, it means it is normal) to avoid problems with smooth use.
3. How is the eSIM option timed?
A: After arriving at the destination, the eSIM option will generate traffic, which means the eSIM is activated and the time starts to be calculated based on the natural day of the UTC+8 zone.
Please install and activate the eSIM app after arriving at your destination and connecting to the internet. Installing the app in a country other than your destination will cause the eSIM to become inactive or pre-calculate usage time.
4. What should I do if there is still no network after arriving at the destination and turning on the eSIM?
A: Please make sure that data roaming of the eSIM is turned on and check if the APN of the eSIM is correct.
5.Can a new eSIM be issued after it is deleted?
A: If the eSIM plan is not fully used or is deleted without the approval of customer service, no reissue or refund will be made.
6.Can the eSIM be installed multiple times? Can I change my phone?
A: A QR code can only be scanned once with a mobile phone. Once scanned, it is bound to the mobile phone and cannot be transferred to other mobile phones. The product cannot be reissued or refunded after binding. If there is a prompt to contact the telecom operator or other prompts, please turn off and restart the phone or contact customer service for assistance.
7.After receiving the eSIM, how many days do I need to use it?
A: It must be activated within 30 days. If it is not activated within 30 days, the eSIM will expire.
8. Is it possible to share the hotspot?
A: Hotspot sharing is supported, but due to differences in device models, it cannot be guaranteed that all devices can share normally.
