20231217 Full Day: 1. Python Cave is located in the 5A scenic area Yuelu Mountain•Juzizhou Tourist Area, which is located in the core area of ​​Changsha City and consists of two major areas: Yuelu Mountain and Juzizhou. Yuelu Mountain is a historical mountain on the west side of Changsha City, covering an area of ​​about 5.57 square kilometers. It faces the Xiangjiang River to the east and is the tail peak of the 72 peaks of Nanyue. The highest peak, Yuwang Peak, is 300.8 meters above sea level. The mountain is covered with lush trees and dense cultural relics. It is a mountaineering scenic spot integrating fitness and health, viewing photography, ancient photography, and hiking adventure. There are countless footprints of celebrities in history. Yuelu Mountain is divided into 7 major areas: Chuanshipo Lake, Xiangyun Pavilion, Gulushan Temple, Yunlu Palace, Aiwan Pavilion, Yuelu Academy, and East Gate. ①Address: Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province ②Transportation: Direct bus access, easy parking by car ③Peak season: None ④Duration: 1 day ⑤Ticket price: Free 2. Python Cave: A small Taoist cave, also known as Baohuang Cave. According to legend, during the Western Jin Dynasty (266-316), Zhang Baohuang and Deng Yu cultivated themselves in the cave and became immortals. In the first year of Tianjian in the Southern Dynasty (502), Deng Yu's son received the order of Emperor Wu of Liang and built three Taoist temples next to the cave to make elixirs, but they no longer exist. There is also a mythical story about Tao Kan and the White Crane Girl shooting pythons.
