The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is a world-famous landmark of modern art, created by the architect Frank Gehry, with its wavy titanium exterior like a giant sculpture. Not only did it bring this industrial city in northern Spain back to life, it turned it into a classic example of urban rejuvenation. The visit here is not only simple to take pictures, but also experience the artistic atmosphere, architectural aesthetics and city charm at once. Tour Route Recommendation: From the Museo Plaza in the Abando area, it is recommended to start from the outside and slowly appreciate the exterior of the museum and take photos. After entering the museum, the first floor is mainly temporary exhibitions and themed installation art; the second floor is the permanent collection area, including the works of many important artists of the twentieth century; the third floor has international large-scale tour exhibitions from time to time, friends who like modern art remember to reserve time to visit one by one. Must-see photo spots: 1. Art Gallery Wavy Exterior—The reflections of titanium blend perfectly with the surroundings, taking beautiful views of the city from different angles. 2. The large spider sculpture Maman in front of the entrance — full of tension and very shocking. 3. Riverside Walk next to the Art Gallery—The art gallery and the river are photographed across the bank, each with its own flavor day and night. Playing Tips: · The gallery has a built-in locker for large bags. · Advance ticket purchase is recommended to save waiting time for entry. · Security check is required for entry, liquid drinks cannot be brought into the museum. · There is a restaurant Cafe in the museum, where you can feel the artistic atmosphere while eating. · For an in-depth understanding of the exhibits, it is recommended to rent an audio guide (mainly in English and Western). Notes: · Open all day (10:00-20:00) Monday and Wednesday through Saturday;closed Tuesday;10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. · It is recommended to avoid weekend rush hours for less crowds and more comfortable photography. · Outdoor views are free.
