I appreciated the convenience of being able to purchase tickets in advance and the reasonable price. Although I was told that I could issue my ticket by scanning the QR code at the station's ticket machine on the day of travel, in reality, I needed to present my passport at a staffed ticket counter (exchange at the counter in both Taipei and Taichung). During peak season, the ticket counters get crowded, so it's best to head to the station with plenty of time to spare. It also seemed possible to issue tickets for dates other than the day of travel in advance.

Five-star review 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This day trip to Sun Moon Lake and Cingjing Farm from Taichung was incredibly well-planned! The morning's scenery at Sun Moon Lake was breathtaking. At noon, we visited Ita Thao Old Street, where the tour leader recommended delicious black tea and gua bao (steamed buns), which were full of local flavor. In the afternoon, the sheep show and stunning mountain views at Cingjing Farm were incredibly relaxing. A special thank you to our tour leader, Xiao Yi, for her detailed explanations, attentive care for everyone, and even taking beautiful photos for us – the whole trip was filled with laughter. Xiao Yi's professionalism and enthusiasm made this day trip well worth the price! Highly recommended for anyone wanting a relaxing trip to Nantou!

I booked this tour because it included a Japanese-speaking guide and allowed me to visit the places I wanted to see. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and they even made a reservation for me at a cafe in Jiufen, allowing me to enjoy tea at my leisure. There were all kinds of people there, from families to solo travelers. I had a wonderful time!

It worked great on my last trip to Shanghai, but on this trip to Hong Kong, Chengdu, and Chongqing, it seems like the SIM card needs updating when changing cities or regions. Sometimes the internet signal is 5G, even though I chose the 100GB per day plan. But it still works, better than life without internet, haha. My boyfriend and I use different SIM cards, but mine drains faster than his. I wonder if it's because of the model, haha.


