Fascinating to see other parts of Taiwan not too far from Taipei and learn some history. See incredible natural sights and just a great half day trip. Highly recommend. Amy was/is fantastic, enthusiastic, happy and so knowledgeable (in many languages)!

It was great to be able to quickly visit Jiufen, and the timing was just right! Our guide, Chen, was friendly and taught us a lot. There was a huge line at A-Mei Tea House for dinner, but we were able to decide whether to go on the bus on the way there and get in without a prior reservation, so I'm glad we chose this tour.

This was my first time participating in a domestic day tour, and it shattered my preconceived notion that independent travel is always better, leaving me with a wonderful experience. Our guide, May, explained everything very carefully, giving us a deeper understanding of the attractions we were visiting, rather than just rushing through them like usual. She was also very attentive throughout the trip; the shops even helped take many photos and videos. I especially enjoyed the tour to Shifen Waterfall and the Cat Village, and there was even an opportunity to ride the Pingxi branch line. Also, since the group members were all foreign tourists, May provided explanations in both Chinese and English.
