Choosing a private driver and guide for this day trip to Laoshan was definitely the best decision I made during my Qingdao trip. Our guide, Mr. Wang, was very punctual; he arrived early to wait for us at the Youlan Coast Hotel in the Shibei District. The vehicle was clean and odorless, and he even provided hiking poles and umbrellas – a thoughtful touch. Laoshan has many winding mountain roads, and it was raining, but the driver's skillful and smooth driving made the trip comfortable even for someone prone to motion sickness. As a local expert, he knew all the scenic spots in Laoshan like the back of his hand. He provided detailed explanations of the Taoist history of Taiqing Palace, the sea scenery of Yangkou Mountain, and the lesser-known spots in Qingshan Fishing Village, explaining everything in a clear and engaging way, not just rote memorization, but incorporating local legends. The itinerary was flexible and adaptable. Because of the rain, he fully accommodated our needs, with zero hard selling, no hidden costs, and no forced shopping stops. He recommended local favorites with authentic and reasonably priced farm-style restaurants. The whole day's tour was relaxed and enjoyable, allowing us to fully appreciate the scenery of Laoshan – a truly worry-free and effortless experience. The service was professional and sincere; highly recommended for tourists visiting Laoshan.★

After comparing and selecting several travel agencies on Ctrip, I finally chose MuHai International Travel Agency. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it! Our trip to Laoshan was led entirely by our guide, Mr. Hu, whose service was meticulous and thoughtful. Mr. Hu is a native of Qingdao, and he patiently explained the history, customs, and traditions of Laoshan in a vivid and engaging way, perfectly showcasing the hospitality and sincerity of Shandong.
The itinerary was well-planned and not rushed, allowing us to visit the stunning coastal highway, Diaolongzui viewing platform, Huayan Temple, Qingshan Fishing Village, and other essential attractions. The scenery along the way was breathtaking. Mr. Hu also proactively helped us take photos, capturing many atmospheric and beautiful shots – every snapshot looked like a masterpiece, satisfying our travel photography needs.
We encountered hail during the day of our trip, but it didn't dampen our spirits at all. The driver took meticulous care of us throughout, ensuring our safety. After the tour, he even thoughtfully took us to our booked hotel, making the entire trip worry-free and comfortable. The overall service was professional and reliable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The overall experience was excellent. Today, I enjoyed a day trip to Yangkou and Huayan in Laoshan with Mr. Wang. Although the weather wasn't great, the atmosphere throughout the trip was very enjoyable. The scenery of Yangkou and Huayan, with their stunning mountains and sea views, was breathtaking. Mr. Wang's driving skills were superb, making the mountain roads smooth and safe. His commentary along the way was witty and humorous, providing detailed explanations of the various scenic spots and local specialties. The itinerary included a ride on a large sailboat in Yangkou and a traditional farmhouse meal with fresh and authentic dishes. Even though we went overtime quite a bit, Mr. Wang didn't charge us extra. He's truly kind and considerate, always attentive and understanding, and never rushed us. This trip was comfortable and enjoyable. I sincerely thank Mr. Wang for his thoughtful and attentive service. I highly recommend him for any trip to Laoshan!★
