The itinerary was well-planned, customer service responded promptly, and the meeting point instructions were clear. Our guide, Ms. Yang, was beautiful and capable, and even gave us a small gift at the end. Highly recommended.

I thought the rain would be a disappointment, but I encountered Hakone at its most gentle. Lake Ashi in the rain resembled a watercolor painting, its surface shrouded in mist, with pirate ships gliding through it—it felt like something out of a Miyazaki animation. The torii gates over the water appeared even more serene on a rainy day, their vermilion gleaming after being washed clean by the rain, making for photos with an inherent sense of story. The moss and stone steps of Hakone Shrine, moistened by the rain, were exceptionally soothingly green. By evening, the rain had subsided in Atami, the lake a beautiful grey-blue, possessing a unique charm, and the evening fireworks bathed the entire area in romance. A special thank you to our driver, Shao. We had missed the tram exit, but instead of making us return to the designated spot, he picked us up at the new exit and even brought umbrellas, making driving in the rain much safer. Visiting Hakone on a rainy day is definitely an underrated romantic experience.
Reviews: Japan One-Day Tour: Mt. Fuji, Hakone, Owakudani, Lake Yamanaka & Oshino Hakkai

I really wanted to visit Mount Fuji during my first visit to Tokyo. It rained continuously early the next morning, so I thought, "Oh no, what am I going to do?" I worried I might end up seeing nothing but gray fog. Fortunately, however, the sky slowly cleared, and the blue sky looked even more pristine after the rain. Riding the ropeway up Owakudani Hakone (an active volcano), I found the volcanic activity filled with sulfurous smoke fascinating and enjoyable. I would love to try the sulfur hot springs next time. I also stopped by Oshino Hakkai; the glacial water and the fresh, clear water, along with the healthy aquatic plants swaying in it, made me feel like my memories were being refreshed. Our kind guide, Wonyang, surprised me with his fluent Chinese, Korean, and Japanese... He is a reliable guide I could trust with my entire day. I hope others will also get to enjoy these must-visit natural heritage sites in Japan. Thank you.

We really enjoyed this excursion. We attended on July 20, 2026. Matt was our guide, and it was a lot of fun and interesting. Even though the excursion was in English, everything was clear. I'd especially like to highlight the high level of organization; Matt explained everything clearly, including where to arrive and when. We had a positive experience that we'll remember for a long time. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
