We vacationed in Sharm for 6 nights and 7 days, renting 20 GB of data for the entire stay. I turned on roaming upon arrival, and everything worked within seconds. The speed was perfect, the only thing I needed was an extra 1-2 GB since I was also tethering to another phone. But 20 GB was enough for daily scrolling through my feed, sending long videos and photos in instant messaging, and tethering to another phone where I was doing the same thing. The 20 GB ran out at the airport check-in counter, just as we were about to fly home. But I extended my data plan by 3 GB in advance so I wouldn't be without service at the airport. The extension was also fantastic, I highly recommend it.★

Everything worked as expected – reliably and confidently. It connects to any of the three carriers, depending on signal strength. It even worked on long trips to non-tourist areas. A little lifehack: if you're connected but still have no internet, switch to your preferred network type. You can downgrade from 5G to 3G and the connection will be restored!★

Absolutely delightful. I bought it for Turkey. The connection was simple; I connected to Turkcell myself. The signal was great everywhere, and the internet was stable. It lasted more than a week. One downside: I never received a confirmation SMS for my travel card, but we solved the problem another way. SMS was included in the package, though. The number was French, and they called several times.
