How to use
Upon arrival at your destination, please connect to the internet to install and activate the eSIM. Do not install this eSIM outside the destination country, as this may cause premature activation of billing and shorten the validity period of the plan.
 
Travelers to Egypt, please note: According to Egyptian regulations, eSIM devices used by inbound travelers have a 90-day registration grace period. If you plan to stay in Egypt for more than 90 days, you must complete device registration through the official Egyptian platform (https://www. telephony. gov. eg) and pay the corresponding fees; otherwise, network services may be restricted.
 
[Install eSIM]
1. Open the QR code attachment in your Trip. com APP order and print it in advance or save it to another electronic device. (iOS 17 and above and some Android phones can save the QR code image directly to the phone. )
2. Open Cellular (iOS) or SIM Card Manager (Android) in Settings.
3. With your phone connected to the internet, tap "Add Cellular Plan" (iOS) or "Add SIM Card" (Android), then scan the QR code to install.
4. If scanning is not possible, you can install by entering the "SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code" from your order voucher.
5. If steps 3 or 4 fail, your phone may be network-locked by your home carrier (unable to use other carrier network bands). You will need to contact your carrier to unlock it before using the eSIM.

1. Turn off your primary SIM and turn on the eSIM network switch.
2. Enable Cellular Data (iOS) or the SIM Card (Android).
3. Turn on Data Roaming.
4. If you still cannot access the internet after the above settings, please set the APN and restart your phone. See details below.
 
[About APN]
1. If you purchased a multi-country/region eSIM and cannot connect upon arriving in a new area, please manually switch the APN (normally it switches automatically).
2. Setting path: Cellular > Cellular Data Network, or Settings > Mobile Network > Access Point Names > Add.
3. Enter APN: plus
4. Restart your phone.
 
[How to Use a Renewal Order]
The renewal order will activate automatically after the validity period of the initial plan ends. Do not scan the QR code to install again.
1. For plans with high-speed data that slows down after usage, the slowed data will be used first until the initial plan's validity period ends. Restart your phone to start using the renewed plan.
2. For plans with high-speed data that stops after usage, after the high-speed data is used up, restart your phone to start using the renewed order.
If you need to use the eSIM on another device, please click "Re-book" instead of "Renew. " Renewed data plans do not support switching devices.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
This product cannot be canceled after activation.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.

[eSIM Usage Conditions]

1. Device supports eSIM functionality

Check method: On the phone dialer interface, dial *#06#. Generally, having an EID indicates support for eSIM. If there is no EID, eSIM cannot be used.


2. Phone is not carrier-locked

Check method: Confirm with your carrier whether your device is carrier-locked.

[Setting Up eSIM]

eSIM can only be installed under a stable network connection. Therefore, please plan the eSIM installation time reasonably according to the plan validity period before departure (it is recommended to install it within 6 hours before departure). Avoid installing too early, which may cause the plan to expire prematurely and affect usage.

Due to varying phone models, if your eSIM supports hotspot functionality but cannot use it, try the following:
1. Check if your phone is a contract or locked device
2. Ensure any VPNs are disabled
3. Make sure to turn on data roaming
4. Check if the eSIM is set as the primary device
5. Update your phone to the latest version
6. Use a physical SIM for internet, enable hotspot sharing (ensure it's available), then switch to eSIM without turning off the hotspot. Repeat this process several times, including restarting your phone several times.
7. If none of the above work, contact customer support

Where can I find the EID and IMEI on my phone?

The EID functions as a digital signature that links devices to mobile networks, typically comprising 32 characters, which include both letters and numbers. The IMEI, or International Mobile Equipment Identity, serves as a unique identifier for your phone and is generally 15 digits long.
For iPhones, you can find your EID and IMEI by going to "Settings" > "General" > "About" > EID/IMEI. Another quick way to find your EID and IMEI is by dialing *#06#, which will display a screen with your device information.
For Samsung phones, go to "Settings" > "About Phone" > "Status Information" > IMEI/EID

How do I activate a renewal?

For total volume-based eSIMs, the renewal will automatically activate after the first plan has been completely used up. You don't need to scan the code again for installation. Once the first plan is used up, refresh the network, wait a few minutes, and it will automatically renew for you.
For daily-based eSIMs: The renewal booking will automatically activate after the days covered by the first booking's package have used up. You don't need to scan the code again.
Additionally, if you want to use eSIM on a different phone, please do not place a renewal booking, as renewal bookings do not support changing phones.

Can I still purchase your service if I have already activated an eSIM on my phone?

Yes, your phone can store multiple eSIM profiles at the same time. You can choose which one to use in your phone settings.
