I used it in three countries: Norway, Sweden, and Finland. In the basement of a hotel, there was no signal and I was out of range, but my friend who was with me also couldn't connect, so I don't think it was the SIM's fault. The SIM card connected quickly. The signal was strong everywhere. Sometimes the connection became unstable in large buildings and between towns, but I think that's normal. The ability to make calls and send/receive text messages was useful.
