Our tour guide had difficulty speaking English, but we were fine with just Mandarin and Japanese so it was okay. At the start we waited pretty long for a no-show passenger which was quite messy, and the itenarary was rushed through because it was a Friday and apparently we had to beat the jam. Otherwise the trip itself went great. The locations we went to were all interesting and it was really hassle free following this tour from Kaohsiung.

This day trip to the Panda Base and Leshan Giant Buddha exceeded my expectations, and I must commend the tour guide! The itinerary was well-planned; the early morning entry to the Panda Base avoided the crowds, allowing us to see many lively pandas. At the Leshan Giant Buddha, the explanation was professional and engaging, making the history of the Buddha and the story of the confluence of the three rivers easy to understand. The day trip was long, but the guide managed the time well, allowing ample time for photos and rest. Throughout the trip, the guide was patient and attentive, and there was absolutely no hard selling.
