You can only get on and off the bus at the designated station when purchasing the ticket. If you need to get on and off at a stop along the way, you will need to purchase a new ticket.
For example, if you purchase a one-way ticket from Kyoto Station to Kansai Airport Station, you can only get on and off at Kyoto Station and Kansai Airport Station.

Eligibility
1. Hold a passport issued by a foreign government.
※This service is not available to individuals with permanent residency permits or Japanese citizens.
2. Entering Japan as a "short-term visitor".
- "Temporary stay" is a status of residence stipulated in Japan's Immigration Control Act.
3. The same passenger is not allowed to purchase or redeem multiple identical tickets within the same period.
[About reservation]
After activation, you need to use it on the same day and can only reserve trains on that day; if you do not use it on the same day, please do not activate it, you can still reserve trains below
[Ticket validity period]
Valid period: June 30, 2025 to March 31, 2026
This ticket is only valid on the day of use.
How to use

· If you are unable to use your ticket due to a train suspension and your WEST QR ticket is not activated, a full refund will be provided.
· If your ticket has already been activated, please contact customer service separately.
Step 1: Register a WEST QR account through the link on the voucher
1. Obtain a QR code ticket certificate.
2. Access the "WEST QR Dedicated Website" (official registration page) from the link on your "QR Code Ticket Certificate."
3. Enter a valid email address, a custom password, and your country/region.
4. To verify your registration, please fill in the verification code in the email you received (the verification code is valid for 5 minutes).
5. Complete account creation.

If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder or confirm the domain name configuration of your login email.
· If it has been a long time since your last registration, please confirm your domain name configuration and register your account again.
· If you do not enter the verification code, you will not be able to complete the account registration.
Step 2: After account registration, bind the e-ticket
1. Enter the account registered in "Step 1" to log in.
2. After logging in, a pop-up window will pop up asking you to bind your ticket. Please select the action you wish to take. [Note: Once you click the "Register/Register" button, the account you registered your ticket to cannot be modified.]
※You can also enter the serial number on the "WEST QR dedicated website" to bind.
3. After completing ticket registration, you can check the added tickets on the "Issued Tickets" page.
Step 3: Book a train and seat
1. After completing ticket registration, click "Seat Reservation" to select the train number and seat
[Notes]
· "HARUKA" reserved seats cannot be reserved at station ticket machines or windows. Seats can only be selected from the "WEST QR Ticket Exclusive Seats".
Reservations can be made from 30 days in advance to 3 minutes before the train's departure time. Trains departing within 3 minutes of their departure time will be considered as the changed train for new reservations or reservation changes and will not be available for selection.
· If you do not select "Start using" 3 minutes before the departure time of the reserved train, your reserved seat reservation will be automatically canceled.
· If the reserved seats on the train you wish to board are full or you have not reserved a reserved seat ticket in advance, you can choose to book an unreserved seat or reserve a "WEST QR reserved seat" on another train.
· If you miss your designated train, your reserved seat will be forfeited and you will not be able to change or refund your ticket.
· Reserved seat tickets can only be redeemed once
Step 4: Activate your ticket (on the day of travel)
1. Visit the "WEST QR dedicated website" and log in using your registered account.
2. Select the ticket you want to use from the ticket list.
3. Click the "Start Using" button on the ticket details page to submit your ticket activation application.
4. A QR code will be displayed on the ticket details page. Align the QR code with the red QR code scanner on the automatic gate to pass through the gate.

· If the gate does not have a QR code scanner, please use the scanning area marked with the "WEST QR" logo near the gate to complete verification and pass through the gate.
· Screenshots or printouts of QR codes are not permitted.
· When passing through the gate, you must use a smartphone with internet access to obtain the QR code information.

1. For each ticket, follow steps 2 (ticket registration), 3 (seat reservation), and 4 (start using the ticket).
2. On the day of travel, after each ticket is activated, please switch to using the ticket to enter the station according to the following method:
The passenger holding the smartphone (the person who registered the account) selects their companion's ticket from the ticket list, then selects the station they wish to go through the ticket gate at by clicking "Scan Code," then "Select Station," and proceeds to "Enter" or "Exit." When the QR code is displayed, scan it with the QR code reader at the ticket gate. The companion passes through the ticket gate first. Finally, the passenger holding the smartphone (the person who registered the account) selects their own ticket and passes through the ticket gate.
[Notes]
If you're at a station without staff and the ticket gates have doors, after processing all your tickets, use the intercom near the ticket gate to call a staff member. Place the QR code details screen on your smartphone on the "Camera Stand" and inform the staff member that you've processed the QR code. (The staff member on the intercom will open and close the ticket gate for you.)
If you can't remember which tickets you used, please check the "Usage History" on the detailed screen of each ticket!
[Important Information]
Once you have activated the "Use Ticket" option, you cannot cancel or change the date of use. You must activate the ticket on the day of use.
※ You cannot pass through the ticket gate before starting to use it.
※ The validity period begins after you start using the card, so please make sure to start using it on the start date.
If you have booked multiple passengers, please activate each ticket separately by clicking "Start Using".
If you do not use the "Use Ticket" action at least 3 minutes before your reserved train departure time, your reserved seat will be automatically cancelled. You will need to make a new seat reservation.
