I've been to Hong Kong Disneyland many times since I was eight years old, but this was the first time I brought my girlfriend. We specifically started the experience from the Disneyland-themed subway and even caught the 20th anniversary fireworks show. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Having visited during the National Day holiday in 1997, I took my child there this time for a nostalgic trip. Although there are many similar amusement parks in China now, this one seemed quite ordinary in comparison, but it was still exciting for my child. The roller coaster, which had been in service for nearly forty years, was now a relic, and I even took a few extra pictures of it. This was the place where I rode my first roller coaster and pirate ship. The only downside was the dolphin show; a group of people seemed to be doing something I couldn't understand.

Exhibits are nicely curated, from ceramics to horse paintings, and envoy gifts showcasing the artists and wares manufacturing during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Audio is free for some exhibits just scan the QR and bring your own Bluetooth earpieces. Transport - a bit out of the way by MTR as you need to take a bus transfer but well worth 2-3 hr visit

The observation deck should have a limit on the number of people allowed in. This way, the money spent will be worthwhile and the effect will be good. Too many people make it unbearable to be crowded, and there are also safety issues. The Red Diamond Pass basically doesn't require waiting time during peak hours, which is great. The night view from Victoria Peak is indeed amazing!

Everything was great, except that when you get on the cable car, the staff takes your picture, and then at the exit, they make it into a souvenir for you for HK$399 – ridiculously expensive! The main thing is the scenery is amazing; you can overlook the entire Hong Kong Airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, as well as the Big Buddha on Lantau Island. The mountaintop is ethereal and often shrouded in mist! The whole ride takes nearly 40 minutes!

I went on the Sunset Roller Coaster this weekend and it was so much fun! My heart was racing a little as the carriage slowly climbed higher, and when we reached the top, the entire river was bathed in golden light. The downhill breeze was incredibly refreshing, and my friend next to me was laughing the whole time. There wasn't a dull moment; this kind of relaxed joy is rare and precious.
