"I had high expectations for Habitas, especially considering the price point, but unfortunately the service did not live up to it. First, communication was a recurring issue. Several staff members, particularly at the reception, were not fluent in English, which led to multiple instances of miscommunication and incorrect information. For a property that caters to international guests, it is essential to have front desk staff who can communicate clearly and confidently in English. The experience at Tama Restaurant was even more disappointing. One of the male staff members was noticeably rude. We were presented with the bill even though we had not requested it, which felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Additionally, when my friend, who had just finished swimming, was told she could not sit because she was wet, no alternative solution was offered. No bathrobe, no towel, no assistance. She was effectively expected to stand while eating. When this was raised, there was no apology or sense of accountability. For the price charged, the level of service falls significantly short. Compared to other luxury properties such as Banyan Tree, where the staff are consistently warm and attentive, the difference in hospitality is very noticeable. Habitas has beautiful surroundings, but service is what defines a true luxury experience. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during our stay."

Banyan Tree AlUla

Banyan Tree AlUla is an unforgettable desert escape. The tented villas are huge and private (plunge pool optional), set among jaw-dropping rock formations. Service is excellent, and the atmosphere is pure luxury. It's eye-wateringly expensive and remote, but for a special occasion, it's absolutely worth it.

Caravan AlUla by Our Habitas

A truly magical stay! The caravan set in the middle of AlUla’s mountains is a unique and beautiful experience I absolutely loved it. The staff were super nice and helpful, and the food was good (though a bit pricey). A few small downsides: the AC in the caravan was quite loud, the room wasn’t very dark during the day, and it would be great to have a pool directly by the caravan instead of having to go to the main hotel, which is about 10 minutes away by car and golf cart. Also, during my two visits to the pool, I stayed for around two hours each time and no staff or bartender came by to ask if we wanted to order drinks. Overall, despite these small issues which didn’t affect me much, it was a magical and memorable experience I’d definitely recommend it and hope to come back again one day.

The location is good, close to Elephant Rock and also near Winter Park, which is a tour pick-up point. However, getting from the room to the reception, pool, restaurant, spa, and fitness center requires a bit of a walk. Golf carts are available but often take a while to arrive. The shower was broken but was promptly fixed. Breakfast was delicious.

The location and facilities are excellent. The only issue we faced was on the first night when the electricity went out at midnight for half an hour, then came back on, and two hours later, it went out again for five minutes. It was a difficult situation because we didn't know what was happening, and the front desk was far from our room, plus the phone was disconnected with the power outage. We received an apology message from the hotel manager along with a small cake. Other than that, honestly, the hotel is beyond amazing, and the breakfast is seven-star. The services are also worth experiencing, and we got a competitive price from the website, better than the hotel's direct price and other sites.

Upgraded to Junior suite Positives - 1 minute from Masjid Nabawi, courteous staff, excellent breakfast variety, large breakfast area, money exchange opposite, fridge/iron/ironing board/safe/coffee pod machine in room, elevators relatively fast, luggage storage after checking out Negatives - dated carpets and rooms, loose room fixings, smell from bathroom, noisy aircon on higher setting

This hotel is truly delightful. The staff is very welcoming, sharing a story and offering a brief tour before check-in. The ambiance is magical, largely due to the reliance on candlelight rather than extensive electricity. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful. My only minor reservation was the pervasive presence of the SAB bank logo. While subtle, once noticed, it became apparent in nearly every design element throughout the hotel. Nevertheless, I would wholeheartedly rate this experience a perfect 10/10, particularly for those who appreciate its unique charm and atmosphere.

We had an extraordinary stay at the Radisson Medina. It truly felt like a five-star luxury experience from start to finish. The hotel was beautifully designed, and the breakfast spread was absolutely outstanding—so much variety, with both local and international options. Every staff member was attentive and so helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Radisson for anyone looking for a premium stay in Medina!

The staff were very attentive to service. When they saw us carrying large pieces of luggage, they proactively came forward to help and patiently answered all our questions. Their friendly attitude made us feel very warm.
