The location is good, close to Elephant Rock and also near Winter Park, which is a tour pick-up point. However, getting from the room to the reception, pool, restaurant, spa, and fitness center requires a bit of a walk. Golf carts are available but often take a while to arrive. The shower was broken but was promptly fixed. Breakfast was delicious.

Upgraded to Junior suite Positives - 1 minute from Masjid Nabawi, courteous staff, excellent breakfast variety, large breakfast area, money exchange opposite, fridge/iron/ironing board/safe/coffee pod machine in room, elevators relatively fast, luggage storage after checking out Negatives - dated carpets and rooms, loose room fixings, smell from bathroom, noisy aircon on higher setting

I think I'll always remember this evening, little silver capsule-like campervans, landed in the rolling valleys of El Ola, they were miniature, adorable, small yet perfectly formed! In the huge tents near the campsite, people played all sorts of games. As sunset approached, the afterglow lingered in the sky, we sat amidst the vast desert and the heavens, and the time seemed to pass by in a way that didn't matter. After it was completely dark, the long-awaited Rock Movie time arrived. Following the twinkling lights, strangers gathered together to watch a movie projected onto the rocks, everything was simply too beautiful… And above, a sky full of stars accompanied me on my walk home.

The hotel's location is a definite highlight, absolutely stunning. However, it's crucial to arrange transportation with the hotel in advance, otherwise, an Uber ride will cost you an arm and a leg. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the signature Banyan Tree essential oils felt like an amazing bonus in a desert hotel. Overall service was excellent, with friendly staff always ready to assist. Of course, there was one disappointment: the mountain pool was closed due to a safety issue with falling rocks.

Unfortunately, there is no spa as advertised. Unfortunately, there is no complimentary toiletries in the room for a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, there is no hot water in the bathroom. Not all basic toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, etc., are provided for three people. Unfortunately, the lighting is poor. Unfortunately, the view is very poor for this high price. Unfortunately, 1085 riyals is an excessively high price for these services.

Once at the hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed my time, everyone is so friendly of course again Ola and Lorraine greeted me and take care of me during the stay. At the swimming pool, Mongkonpat and Zaher there were exceptional—always attentive and friendly, ensuring that every need was met with professionalism and a smile. Their service truly enhanced my relaxation and enjoyment of the facilities for my family. Leah stood out with her outstanding hospitality in the resturant. She was always welcoming, quick reaction and knows what we want, and provided excellent care throughout every meal and also another gentleman as well. Overall, the Chedi Hegra team exceeded my expectations. Their kindness, professionalism, and personal touches made my stay both comfortable and memorable. I am grateful for their efforts and look forward to returning in the future. Small suggestions: I have a small suggestion regarding the bicycles. Having bicycles are wonderful expereience from the hotel. However, The bikes provided were quite difficult to adjust, and the position of the pedals—being very close to the frame—made it hard for the kids to ride comfortably. More maintenance, and offering a greater variety of bicycle sizes or types for young guests and asian ladies like me with lower bicycles will be even better.

The location and facilities are excellent. The only issue we faced was on the first night when the electricity went out at midnight for half an hour, then came back on, and two hours later, it went out again for five minutes. It was a difficult situation because we didn't know what was happening, and the front desk was far from our room, plus the phone was disconnected with the power outage. We received an apology message from the hotel manager along with a small cake. Other than that, honestly, the hotel is beyond amazing, and the breakfast is seven-star. The services are also worth experiencing, and we got a competitive price from the website, better than the hotel's direct price and other sites.

Jjesputri25I had high expectations for Habitas, especially considering the price point, but unfortunately the service did not live up to it. First, communication was a recurring issue. Several staff members, particularly at the reception, were not fluent in English, which led to multiple instances of miscommunication and incorrect information. For a property that caters to international guests, it is essential to have front desk staff who can communicate clearly and confidently in English. The experience at Tama Restaurant was even more disappointing. One of the male staff members was noticeably rude. We were presented with the bill even though we had not requested it, which felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Additionally, when my friend, who had just finished swimming, was told she could not sit because she was wet, no alternative solution was offered. No bathrobe, no towel, no assistance. She was effectively expected to stand while eating. When this was raised, there was no apology or sense of accountability. For the price charged, the level of service falls significantly short. Compared to other luxury properties such as Banyan Tree, where the staff are consistently warm and attentive, the difference in hospitality is very noticeable. Habitas has beautiful surroundings, but service is what defines a true luxury experience. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during our stay.

FfatalistAdvantages: Next to the old town, the building itself is part of history, and the candle lighting ceremony at night is very ritualistic. A few shortcomings: 1. The shower in the bathroom on the first floor of the double bed suite where I stayed was broken. There was no hot water but only cold water. The maintenance worker checked for half an hour and said it could not be repaired. As a boutique hotel, it was not informed of this situation before check-in, which is really wrong. 2. The room has no air conditioning, and fans can only be used for ventilation and cooling at night, but the fan in the living room suddenly stopped at around 3 am, and the room temperature rose rapidly, seriously affecting sleep. I hope the hotel can take guests seriously and not make such low-level mistakes.
