We really liked the hotel, but there are some downsides. First and foremost, the soundproofing is an issue. There should be strict rules about noise, as people can sit outside and yell all night long, and no one does anything about it. Also, there's a problem with smokers. Our neighbor's smoking absolutely filled our room with smoke. He was smoking outside, but all the smoke came straight into our room. It was terrible; I had to take allergy pills.

Service: Absolutely lives up to five-star hotel standards. Check-in isn't done standing at a counter; instead, you're seated comfortably on a lobby sofa for personalized, one-on-one service. Room: Spacious and full of local character with a well-designed layout. However, the bedding was just average, and the soundproofing in the wooden cabins is indeed poor. Dining: There are two restaurants for breakfast; one is a Western-style restaurant facing the beach and sea. Overall, though, the variety is a bit limited. Facilities: The pool is fantastic, with a light blue bottom, catering to the swimming needs of adults, children, and even infants. It also comes with a spacious, bright kids' club and an animal park.

My stay at Resorts World Langkawi was truly a memorable and refreshing experience that exceeded my expectations in many ways. Located on the beautiful island of Langkawi, the resort offered a perfect combination of natural beauty, comfort, and excellent hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly by the staff, whose friendly and professional attitude made me feel relaxed and valued. The check-in process was smooth, and I was quickly escorted to my room, which had a stunning view of the sea. Waking up each morning to the sight of calm blue waters and lush green surroundings was incredibly peaceful and helped me disconnect from the stress of daily life. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the infinity pool, which overlooked the ocean and created a breathtaking atmosphere, especially during sunset. I spent hours there just relaxing and enjoying the scenic beauty. The resort also had a variety of dining options, and the food was delicious, offering both local Malaysian flavors and international cuisine. Every meal felt special, with fresh ingredients and great presentation. Another thing I appreciated was the peaceful environment of the resort. Pros: 1. **Location:** Conveniently situated between Langkawi Airport and Cenang Beach, just over a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport. 2. **View:** Offers sea views (though not directly beachfront). 3. **Architecture:** The hotel's exterior resembles a cruise ship, and the lobby has an Islamic-inspired design. 4. **Staff:** The front desk staff are friendly and enthusiastic. 5. **Elevators:** Four elevators make getting around very convenient. 6. **Corridors:** The hallways feature a traditional Southeast Asian architectural style. 7. **Rooms:** Spacious rooms with partial sea views. 8. **Breakfast:** Wide variety of choices including Western, Chinese, and Malay options. 9. **Pools:** Located on the second floor, there's an outdoor swimming pool, an infant pool, a regular pool, and a dedicated pool for Muslim women. You can also order food to be delivered poolside. The changing rooms are very large. 10. **Shuttle Service:** Free scheduled shuttle bus service to the night market and Eagle Square. 11. **Luggage Storage:** Luggage storage is available. 12. **Nearby Dining:** There's a restaurant with a pool next door, which has a nice ambiance. In some cases, the wall-mounted units didn't blow air, and we had to clean the filters ourselves, which were very dirty. 3. **Bathroom:** The bathroom lacks a modern feel. 4. **Breakfast Quality:** The breakfast quality isn't very high and also feels dated.

After such a long time away from the beautiful island of Langkawi, I was truly excited for this trip. After reading many online reviews, I decided to stay at Best Star Resort, hoping for a relaxing and memorable experience. Sadly, the reality did not match the expectations. First impression matters — and unfortunately, the hotel lobby was extremely hot upon arrival. The only positive part was that we managed to check in 30 minutes early, which we appreciated very much because we were already exhausted after taking the 7AM ferry, renting a car, driving around the island, and getting caught in the rain. However, once we entered the room, problems immediately started appearing. The room door was in very poor condition and extremely difficult to open. I actually had to walk around searching for housekeeping staff just to help me unlock the door. After finally entering, I noticed there were no towels or even a leg mat provided in the room. Once again, I had to go out and hunt for housekeeping just to get basic necessities. The second day became even more frustrating. There is a restaurant beside the room area, and the noise level early in the morning was unbelievable. The sound of shutters opening, combined with the loud crows outside, completely destroyed our sleep. To make things worse, the window could not even close properly, allowing all the noise to enter the room easily. I cannot speak for other rooms, but based on my experience, this stay was disappointing and far below what I expected. Even the breakfast did not feel up to Malaysian hospitality standards. Malaysia is famous for amazing food, but sadly the hotel management really needs to improve the quality and taste. This trip taught me one important lesson — next time I must be more careful when choosing hotels, no matter how good the online reviews look.

Really great stay at Holiday Villas, has more than everything you need for a great holiday. The rooms are dated but they are clean and have all the facilities you need. The balconies feel a bit risky for young children so maybe requesting a ground floor room is better. The setting is perfect. The beach is so nice and there are more than enough sun loungers, toilets nearer the beach would be helpful as it is quite a walk for people from the beach. Overall great stay.

The amenities were great,( i didnt try, but they look nice), nice infinity pool, located at the beach side. Breakfast area was nice, great deaogn, food variation was okay. I get to enjoy a nice sunset at the beach. The downside is the cleanliness of the room. The room smells of cigarette, so I asked for room freshener. They came and sprayed, but the smell still linger. I didnt say anything since I was quite tired. The floor was not vacuum, I can feel the sand on the floor when I stepped into the room, there are a lot at the room entrance. I had to wear slipper everytime. The space near the toilet was a bit cleaner, but still can feel the sand. It is not comfortable to pray. The WC was dirty, got yellowish stain at the bowl. The check in experience was not really smooth for me. I arrived at 1pm, asking if I can check in early, and they said the room was not ready, so I understand. I waited for 40 minutes, but it was still not ready. Then I went out for work, came back at 6.30 pm, but the check in was still not ready, and I need to wait for a while to get my room card even though they said that a room was assigned, I thought they have checked in for me, but no, they asked for my ID again. I left my luggage earlier, and they just left it in the open. The window locked was broken, even when I try to close, it opened by itself, no wonder I can hear the loud music and animal sound (like a bird or something, its loud and i can here it throughout my stay) I only realized that the window opened itself in the morning because the lock was broken, no wonder the aircond was not cold. I didnt realize because i didnt open the curtain till the next morning. Overall experience was not so good with the room, I was tired and upset with the room cleanliness. Apart from the ambience and the pool area, I dont think the hotel is up to 4-star standard in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.

The service is good and the staffs are very friendly. We were a group of 6 and a 2 yo toddler. We love the place and the vibes. Just the cleanliness of the room can be improved. When we checked out I’ve seen the staff cleaned our rooms for next guest. But they just changed the bedsheet and refill all the necessaries but thorough cleaning should be done before for example all the cabinets and flooring. Maybe it’s hard as well cause the houses are made of wood and it’s harder to clean. So you have to wear hotel slippers in the room and it’s fine. Just that we have a toddler and they just tend to run around barefoot. Overall everything is great. Would recommend couples, solo travellers and families group but without kids would be ideal.

A very tranquil spot in tropical woods away from noise, for those travelers who come to chill, enjoy the nature, inhale the ascent of flowers. Breakfast is a bit poor, light and generally good. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful.The beach is about 10 min. walk, clean and white sandy. There are some cafes around, also a Hot24hrsMart, and one truly recommended restaurant at Bobi’s. You may rent a scooter or e-bike not far, or a mountain bike at the hotel for RM 20 a day. Enjoy your stay! Stay calm!

The resort was AMAZING all the people were super welcoming from the receptionist to the cleaners to the people driving the shuttle bus specially Amirul, was incredibly kind and informative. My room was to die for, very dreamy and for sure I used the jacuzzi every time I could, the view was spectacular, the food was delicious, the fire show was very cool. I didn’t want to leave. I 100%%% recommend it.
