A wonderful, compact hotel right by the sea. It's very quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the last room and didn't hear any neighbors at all, either they were quiet or the soundproofing is excellent. Hornbills occasionally flew into the grounds. There's a clean, beautiful pool, and the entire area is lush with greenery. The staff are unobtrusive, quietly going about their work and constantly tidying up the property. There are many duty-free shops and cafes near the hotel. Overall, the experience was overwhelmingly positive; it's a perfect hotel for a relaxing getaway.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, not at all like some social media posts made them out to be. Just be mindful of the ferry times to and from the island. It's true that the place is a bit old, but its antique charm is quite interesting.

Thank you so much for everything, this hotel is really great!
At arrival, we enjoyed our free welcome drink, the staff is really helpful.
The pool is so nice!
Its located at a very quiet place in Kuah.
Only one thing to say which was negative; the balcony door did not close properly so there was a lot of noise.

The hotel is very nice. Despite the fact that the hotel is old, and, for example, in our room type, the shower and toilet were separate, and the washbasin was in the common room area, all other things compensate for it. The hotel is clean. The location is good, 7-10 minutes by car to the central beach, you can use the Grab app or use the free shuttle bus that runs 2 times a day between the hotel and Cenang Mall, which is located in the area of the central public beach. The hotel also has friendly staff. In addition, it is convenient that you can buy all sightseeing tours right at the hotel. What we liked the most was the very tasty and varied breakfasts, as well as the infinity pool, which is open until midnight. We recommendđđ»

The family room was spacious, and the air conditioning worked great. Housekeeping cleaned daily and replenished our water. The hotel has a beautiful environment, with tropical flowers, fruit trees, and other plants everywhere. We saw small animals like squirrels, monkeys, birds, and geck moving around. The hotel also has several swimming pools and a private beach. During the Chinese New Year, we even received a New Year's card and fruit. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Hotel is 15 floors. Check in to room with sea view on 11th floor - big, clean carpeted, separate shower and tub. Lobby pretty big with restaurant, meeting room, tour guide and a bistro. Welcome drink is a choice of fruit juice or beer at bistro. Also included is a high tea voucher for following day. Took a short walk and found a variety of different food places around - malay, Indian, Korean, Japanese and a tze char joint as well. A lot of different varieties of shops and duty free shops as Langkawi is a duty-free island where alcohol is cheaper than soft drinks. Many seafood joints around within 0.6 to 14 km radius.

For a three-night stay that cost 8,000, I didn't feel it exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, during breakfast, the staff were mostly expressionless, and the variety of food wasn't great. The resort is quite large, so it takes some time to walk to your room, which can be challenging, especially when it's hot. It's supposed to be a family-friendly hotel, but they didn't provide children's toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, or bathrobes. It really pales in comparison to hotels back home. There are two pool areas, one of which has a simple slide. The hotel has direct access to Cenang Beach, perfect for watching the sunset and playing in the sand. When we returned to our room on the second day, we found the cleaning was subpar; there were two stains inside the duvet, and hair wasn't cleaned off the sheets when the duvet was pulled back. The duvet cover and sheets looked quite old and somewhat yellowish. The towels and bath towels in the bathroom also looked dingy, suggesting they'd been reused many times. There are USB charging ports, two on one bedside table, but other devices require an adapter. Mosquito repellent mats were not replenished after the initial two upon arrival. Tissues were not provided initially; I had to call the front desk to get them. Our room's balcony opened directly to a pool in one of the two areas, which was convenient. However, it was quite a distance from the breakfast area, unfortunately. The air conditioning in the room was also a bit loud.

A very tranquil spot in tropical woods away from noise, for those travelers who come to chill, enjoy the nature, inhale the ascent of flowers. Breakfast is a bit poor, light and generally good. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The beach is about 10 min. walk, clean and white sandy. There are some cafes around, also a Hot24hrsMart, and one truly recommended restaurant at Bobiâs. You may rent a scooter or e-bike not far, or a mountain bike at the hotel for RM 20 a day. Enjoy your stay! Stay calm!

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort! The pool is huge and very clean â I swam for almost 3 hours each day during my 2-night stay đ€.
My pool access room was super comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. I also loved that thereâs a bathtub!
A few small suggestions for improvement:
1. It would be great to have street lights at the junction leading to the resort.
2. Adding a clear sign at the entrance would help, especially at night or during rainy weather.
3. Breakfast was okay overall. The English-style options were good, but the local dishes like fried kuey teow, fried vermicelli, and nasi lemak could use a bit more flavour.
Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay â definitely a resort Iâd love to come back to! đŽđŠ

I booked a 2-night stay with my Mrs in one of the villas connected to the shared pool, and our experience started off on a great note. We were picked up from the airport in a very comfortable Toyota Alphard arranged by the resort. Our driver and resort staff, Khai, was incredibly friendlyâhe patiently answered all my questions and gave us fantastic food recommendations since it was my first time in LGK.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Daniel at the lobby. He served us beautifully presented lemon peach teas as a welcome drink and brought us through the entire check-in process.
While waiting for our villa to be ready, we had lunch at the resortâs only restaurant. Unfortunately, this was the only part of the stay that fell shortâthe pizza crust was undercooked, a bit greasy, and tasted store-bought, which was quite disappointing.
Thankfully, things picked up again after that. Khai later escorted us to our villa, and we were relieved that our balcony didnât directly face the restaurant. However, I do feel the pool and villa balconies could be designed to offer more privacy so diners arenât looking out over the area.
Overall, the stay was truly pleasant. I loved that the resort is away from the busy beach, giving us a peaceful and quiet environment. All the staff were warm and friendly.
A few standout perks include:
1. Complimentary rides to and from the property (subject to booking and availability)
2. Free minibar, replenished dailyâincluding coffee capsules
3. Complimentary Netflix and YouTube accounts on the TV (which both my wife and I really love)
4. A pretty decent in-room breakfast experience. (they definitely do breakfast better than lunch, in my opinion)
I also indulged in a 90-minute massage, which started with herbal tea, grapes, and a carrot stick during a herbal foot bath, followed by a foot massage and a one-hour full-body aromatherapy massage. My masseuse, Yaya, was incredibly patient and attentive, constantly checking on the pressure and even gifting me a small goodie bag at the end.
All in all, I wouldnât mind returningâand Iâm even considering trying one of their larger 3-room villas next time. I highly recommend this resort for big families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

GGuest UserI wish we stayed a few extra days at the Berjaya. Itâs really an enchanting experience to live in a wooden cabin in the forest. The staff is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate guests needs. Itâs convenient, beautiful, and super relaxing. I will strongly recommend the Thai restaurant on the water - try to reserve a spot for sunset! The restaurant on the beach also have delicious meals, but unfortunately, the service at that one is very poor. I can happily recommend this resort for families and couples!

GGuest UserBook sea view studio at a higher price due to the Chinese New Year holidays. Waited for almost 2 over hrs before room is ready when close to 3pm. However was very disappointed when check into room n as seaview studio room on 7th floor is blocked by a hill in the center n major construction looking down from the balcony. Request for a change of room to higher floor, view rooms on 2 other higher floors and finally settled on the 11th floor which is a better seaview eventot the hill in front with construction site is still there. Would rate the hotel only at probably 4 stars or below with average rooms furnishings , average spread breakfast, spots bad maintained cleanliness over the public areas n a rooftop which is squeezing all sunbathe chairs n tables n a bar with an average size swimming pool. Reception staffs are not as well trained but they are trying their best to fulfill most guests queries. The rooftop is quite windy but offers good photo view. This hotel should be relatively new only opened a few years ago but idoesnât match the prices of a 5 stars or 5 diamonds rated.
GGuest UserThis is my second time and never fail me. Enjoyed the lovely breakfast spread had a good chill time at the beach . Always recommending friends over

GGuest UserHonestly, I've been to Malaysia four times, and this was my first time experiencing such terrible service at the Parkroyal Langkawi. Normally, they'd actively offer to bring luggage to the room, but here, they seemed reluctant and even asked, 'Do you want your luggage delivered to your room?' If not, there are two elevators you can use... Usually, I'd tip for luggage service, but this time, I saved the tip. During my stay, I also had to request a room change. I had checked in, dropped off my bags, and gone out, only to discover a strong urine smell when I returned that night to shower. The bathroom in the room they gave me reeked of urine, it was incredibly pungent. I left a message that night requesting a room change. The next morning, the hotel manager went to the room to verify the smell, even asking the cleaning staff to open the door and air it out, but the smell persisted. Only then did they give me a different room. The breakfast experience was similar; the noodle station attendant was very polite to the Western guests in front of me, making their noodles. But when it was my turn, she simply turned away to do something else, nodding to another person to serve me instead đ. Anyway, I definitely won't be staying here again.
