"This place had a great location to some of the sites to visit and also offered parking for a very reasonable fee to qhich I needed due to me renting a car. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms are basic but very functional and clean and this place had a laundry facility which proved very useful. I would highly recommend this place"

GGuest UserChecking in can take a while, as the butler asks quite a few detailed questions and then gives a thorough introduction to the building and its various areas. Some staff members have good English, others not so much, which can sometimes make understanding difficult, but it doesn't significantly impact the overall experience. The breakfast is exquisite. During the tail end of the Golden Week holiday, we had to queue for a table. The Japanese grilled fish was delicious, but other dishes were just okay. The Western options were decent and quite plentiful. The room was clean and tidy, and on our last day, we even saw deer chasing and playing in the courtyard. The hotel has a distinct resort vibe, and Kengo Kuma's design features many highlights. It's a tranquil oasis in a bustling area, and the courtyard is beautifully maintained. Most guests seemed to be older, well-established families, with fewer young people. (As a 'workhorse' who needed to get some work done in the evening, I found there were no power outlets near the desk for my laptop, which really drove home the point that everyone else was truly here to relax and enjoy their vacation). Overall, I had a very pleasant and comfortable holiday. It's a beautiful hotel and definitely worth experiencing.

SsimonesterThis is a great option if you want a budget option that is still reasonably comfortable and clean. You get a physical key as the room key and there and then you know that it is a dated hotel. And that also means anyone can access the hotel room floors, and thankfully, there was no security issues throughout our stay. Besides that, the hotel room amenities are acceptable and we enjoyed using the bathroom supplies very much. We booked the Large Twin Room which also means our bath area and toilet are in separate rooms, which is great. The bathroom has the traditional bath house concept with the stool and low mirror, which made our bath time fun for the kids and interesting for adults. We like that fresh towels were provided daily even if we put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door knob. Housekeeping would leave the items in a plastic bag outside your door, including bottles of mineral water. Yes, bottled water is provided for free here, which is perfect. The hotel staff were very friendly. Lifts were spacious and worked perfectly. There were no bugs in the room. Our non-smoking room also smelled fine - no odd or bad smell/odour. The location is also easy for taxi drivers to find. There's also a Family Mart and 7-11 less than 5 minutes away. While you're there, check out Yakinikukotora, just 5 minutes away - a great place to go for dinners and suppers; I believe they close at 3am. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

ZZhi YiThis got to be one of the best rappers i had ever been to, (besides a few really high end resort in Bali). This resort service is impeccable. The kaiseki dinner is really delicious. The Garden is so well curated that it can compete with some of the shrine garden. And last but not least the onsen is truly relaxing and beautiful. One tip, is it place the herbal pack into the onsen early. It takes 6 hours for it to fully diffuse into the onsen.

BBeixiangFirst of all, the location is a long distance from JR and the electric rail Nara Station. The facade is good. The waiter's attitude is also very good. There are free drinks and books on the first floor for free. But the hotel hardware facilities can be said to be not suitable as a hotel, the bed, bathroom, etc. are too old, the TV is not as big as the laptop, and it is a big circle smaller than the small refrigerator. The sewer is also blocked, and the smell of the sewer is coming to the door. I should not choose this hotel again. It is not a good experience. Of course, the service is very good, but the facilities are really bad.

MMegDOur room has 4 futon beds (tatami) which is comfortable to sleep in. The hotel has liquor like sake, coffee, soda water and snacks as welcome drinks for the guests which is a plus point. Distance from JR and Kintetsu train station is within 10min walking distance. On our way to the hotel we already saw some deers which is a nice surprise to us as we are yet to be near to the Nara Park.

GGuest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel, and it's always child-friendly and highly rated. The rates are reasonable, and the surrounding area is great for shopping, leisure, and entertainment. I think it would be even better if there was a place to buy souvenirs inside the hotel.

やーたんWe went by car! There was a parking lot where guests could park for free. The location was also great, as it was only about a 15-minute walk to Todaiji Temple. We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, and both were delicious and very satisfying (;;) They provided petit cakes in the evening, which we enjoyed eating while doodling in our memory notebook! They even have a hot spring! The inside of the hotel was very clean, and everything was great, so we were very satisfied! If I come to Nara again, I'd love to stay here!

임은옥I want to go to the nearby mountains, and it is a difficult place to find accommodation in Osaka and Kyoto on weekends. There is also a hiking course, but the schedule was changed due to physical strength and weather on the day. It was different from the schedule because I arrived in the afternoon and left in the morning. After the rain, the dreamy lake in the evening left an impression on me. The accommodation carni uses electric cars, but the transportation costs are expensive, and there are no convenience stores nearby, or restaurants open in the evening, so I walked down to Ikoma Station, but it took 30 to 40 minutes by stairs. ㅠ (my knee) It's better to eat and go up to shop in advance. The accommodation was also high, so the view was good, and the hot spring was good to be able to book for an hour. No English, I recommend using an interpreter.
