"Convenient location, very convenient to go anywhere.
The facilities are a bit old and the beds are big.
However, the light in the toilet in the room is very dark, and I feel that I can't see anything clearly, and I am quite dissatisfied."

GGuest UserGreat location. A very nice spa. The hotel room is unfortunately quite old, the shower was cold, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls are very thin making it hard to sleep.
GGuest UserOut of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip, the DoubleTree by Hilton was definitely our favorite, followed by Hampton and Holiday Inn. Sticking with chain hotels really does save you from bad experiences. This particular DoubleTree is located in the Cotswolds, making it super convenient for visiting the nearby towns. Before checking in, we popped over to Bibury. As the sun set and the tourists left, the town was absolutely serene and beautiful! We had planned to wake up early the next day to experience the peaceful beauty of Bourton-on-the-Water before the crowds arrived, but the youngsters just couldn't get out of bed, so that plan fell through. There's a local supermarket right next to the hotel, which has a great selection and good prices – perfect for stocking up on snacks if you're driving. The breakfast was delicious, and the welcome cookies were a lovely treat. The environment is beautiful, and I'd definitely recommend it. If you're driving to the Cotswolds, staying here is an excellent choice!
GGuest UserNot worth the price. The place is stunning don’t get me wrong. However, it was a bit disappointing in terms of hospitality and the cleanliness of the hotel room was a bit disgusting with a vape and used slippers under the bed with hairs in the bath upon arrival. Furthermore, no TV remote and any information of what to do in the hotel.
Breakfast was brilliant but when you weigh the price of the hotel and the hospitality, I just don’t think £300 was worth the stay. Furthermore, the spa was rammed with children and parents so the size to person ratio was a bit much. Furthermore, restaurants are always booked up and it’s difficult to get a reservation unless you want to end up in the horsebox restaurant last minute.
Bartender was rude when under pressure from the restaurant as I asked for a drinks menu, to which he pointed me to go and get the menu for it. So just ultimately a bit disappointing especially since a room is nearly half a grand.
GGuest UserEveryone , the receptionist, the staff included very polite and helpful. I enjoyed the bar and food . The rooms are comfortable . They have a pool and spa. I just didn’t get to go It looked inviting., there are towns and parks an Uber away . There is also a small path around Hotel to take a short walk .
GGuest UserWe were disappointed on arrival to find that we had been allocated a standard room, instead of the Opulent one we had booked through trip. The receptionist was very nice but wasn’t able to give us the room we booked as there wasn’t one available. She gave us a slightly better room which was ok but looked like it was ready for a refresh. We needed to call reception as there wasn’t no hair dryer in the room but there was no instructions for using the phone, when we worked it out there was then no answer! We then needed reception again later as our neighbours were playing really really loud music, again no answer. Besides this, the hotel was very nice, the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced, the pool was nice and the breakfast was good. We would stay there again but book direct.
GGuest UserThis was our second trip to this hotel. The location is stunning, to wake in the morning and pull back the curtains to reveal a panoramic view of the lake was breathtaking. Breakfasts are amongst the best we’ve ever had. Service first class across the board. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for Badminton Horse trials and had a great time! The staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. The breakfast was nice and there was a wide range of food available. We had dinner there every night as well which was lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
TTseng Kai wenThe overall experience of this hotel is very good, and the process from check-in to check-out is very smooth. The service staff is friendly and polite, the room is clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete and well-maintained. The location is convenient and the surrounding living functions are also very convenient. The overall accommodation environment is comfortable and relaxing. It is a pleasant accommodation experience and I will visit again if I have the chance in the future.
SSuqinConvenient location, very convenient to go anywhere.
