Hampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that will open at the end of 2024. The hotel's facilities are very complete, all of which are intelligent voice controlled. The mattress is very comfortable and clean. The room is large, and the toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, which is more advanced than the one in my home and can be controlled by remote control. The remote-controlled smart toilet is very suitable for me because it is difficult for me to use the toilet on an ordinary toilet. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

This is the smartest hotel we stayed in from Chengdu to Zuogong. There is no need to use room cards to scan faces to enter the room. All devices are controlled by voice. The room is equipped with a massage chair, which relieves the fatigue of the journey from Batang to Zuogong. The room is clean and tidy, and is equipped with two wireless charging stations. The only drawback is that the laundry room is a bit cold. Maybe there are fewer waiters working during the Spring Festival. The three young ladies at the front desk are very enthusiastic and have a good attitude. My husband has a little altitude sickness, and the young man helped with the luggage. He also prepared snacks when I went out in the morning. It was very thoughtful. If I come to Zuogong next time, I will choose to stay here again.

Honestly, I expected a Hilton to cost at least several hundred, but the price I booked was much lower than I anticipated, even more cost-effective than some private rooms in hostels. The room was clean and spacious, with oxygen supply and a humidifier, ensuring a really sound sleep at night. While breakfast wasn't a lavish buffet, it offered plenty of tsampa, butter tea, and boiled eggs, enough to keep me full until the afternoon, saving me lunch money. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and getting to the Potala Palace or Jokhang Temple costs just one yuan, making transportation costs almost negligible. After this stay, I feel like I hit the jackpot. Not just because it was affordable, but because of the unreserved kindness from the ******* people. Next time I visit Tibet, I won't hesitate – I'm definitely staying here again! 🙏🎒

He was super responsive to all my requests, whether for itinerary advice or item delivery. He paid close attention to my physical well-being and was genuinely humble and kind. The service from this local ******* butler added an extra touch of warmth to my experience. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a great pool, spa, and restaurants that maintain high quality. Breakfast offers a rich variety of choices, and the location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. Overall, my stay far exceeded expectations. I'm incredibly grateful for Butler Sangbu's meticulous care, which added so many wonderful memories to my Lhasa trip. I will definitely choose the St. Regis Lhasa again on my next visit and highly recommend everyone to ask for Butler Sangbu!
