"The room was very spacious, and it even had kitchen facilities, plus a large bed, making it perfect for a couple's trip. My only minor complaint is that the shower stall felt a bit small, and the shower head was fixed, so it couldn't be adjusted up or down, which was a bit inconvenient."

"I had a terrible experience at this hotel. We were required to pay a deposit, which I settled with my credit card. When we checked out at the front desk, the receptionist didn't ask about any incidental charges, nor did they inform us of any fees incurred during our stay. A few days later, I received a credit card notification that the hotel had charged me for in-room dining services. After checking with the hotel receptionist, they confirmed a mistake had been made and that the wrong room was billed. While the hotel did refund the amount to my account a few days later, I requested an explanation from the manager about this incident, but received no response. Here’s what went wrong at the hotel, which is completely unacceptable: 1. Charges were incorrectly billed to the wrong room. 2. No one asked us if we had any charges during our stay, nor were we informed of any charges at the front desk during check-out. 3. The hotel directly debited my credit card a few days after I left, without contacting me or providing any prior notification. 4. I received a refund from my bank, but due to exchange rate differences, the amount I got back was less than what I originally paid. This is extremely poor; I shouldn't have to pay for the hotel's mistake."

AAnonymous UserThe location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of Melbourne's city center. Stepping out, you're immediately at St. Paul's Cathedral and Federation Square, with major shopping areas and attractions all within walking distance, making getting around and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel itself boasts a style of understated luxury. The rooms are spacious, with a high-quality decor, and the bathroom amenities are top-notch, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The service throughout was attentive and thoughtful, with professional and detailed concierge and turndown services that were promptly delivered. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering a full range of both Chinese and Western options with fresh ingredients. The only minor downsides were that the building has some age, with a few facilities showing their years, and during peak breakfast hours, it can get crowded with a slightly slower refill rate for dishes. Overall, it remains a prime choice among Melbourne's high-end hotels, perfect for both business trips and leisure stays.

DDDDoDDDThe bed size in the room didn't match what was advertised. The website stated a 'deluxe king-size bed,' which should typically be 1.8m. However, as shown in the picture, it was actually a queen-size bed, approximately 1.5m. My large suitcase is 80cm, and at 1.77m tall, I was significantly taller than the bed's width. A manager named Nicolas told me that this is considered an Australian standard king-size. However, I study in Sydney and have a king-size bed at home, and all king-size beds sold in Australian furniture stores are 1.8m. I'm not sure which 'Australia' he was referring to. As an airport hotel, the soundproofing of the windows wasn't particularly good; I could still hear cars from downstairs. Despite this being a hotel issue, Trip.com was very patient and responsible in their coordination and communication. The front desk staff, Tarek, had an excellent service attitude and paid great attention to detail.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a bit old, but its location is a big plus – super convenient for shopping! The bed was comfy and soft, and the in-room facilities were well-equipped. No one offered to help with luggage, and the hotel has two entrances, but the staff didn't tell me which one was easier for catching a ride. When I came back by taxi, they didn't open the door for me, but when my friends dropped me off, they were very enthusiastic, opened the car door, and greeted us!

GGuest UserThis is an older five-star hotel with decent service. Its location is similar to Tsim Sha Tsui East in Hong Kong – quiet, with many famous shops, bars, and Western restaurants nearby. However, you'll notice a lot of tourists around when you step outside. The breakfast is pretty good and acceptable, offering standard fare like bread, eggs, coffee, cheese, ham, and fruit – all the daily essentials. The main drawback is that the hotel is too close to the two adjacent buildings. There are very few rooms with a view; most rooms get little to no sunlight throughout the day and require the curtains to be drawn almost constantly. The bathroom is particularly bad. The shower screen only covers half the area, so water inevitably splashes all over the floor, making it a mess. This means you often have to use bath towels to dry the floor, leading to constantly wet carpets and very dirty towels in the long run.

VVSingLocation: The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable. Cleanliness: This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible. Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief. Service: The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously. Facilities: Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family. Room: The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep. Overall: While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.

GGuest UserI booked two hotels on the Southbank of the Yarra River this time. First, let's talk about Crown Towers, which is located further west. My initial impression was luxury. It's connected to a casino and surrounded by high-end luxury stores. The lobby is incredibly grand. My second impression was how friendly it is towards Chinese guests; the elevator buttons have both Chinese and English descriptions, and there were many festive elements for Chinese New Year. The room faced the Yarra River, offering a nice view, and there were various restaurants downstairs, making dining convenient. Walking west from the hotel, away from the bustling Flinders Street Station, and experiencing the quiet, less crowded Yarra River after an evening rain, I truly understood why Melbourne has repeatedly been named the world's most livable city. It was a refreshing and comforting feeling, making me exclaim, 'Life can be so wonderful!' If you have plenty of time, you absolutely must spend a night by the Yarra River. I recommend booking a hotel on the west side. The location might be slightly less central, but it offers a great opportunity to experience the Yarra River away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Like the Crown Towers in Sydney, the one in Melbourne is also bustling and showy. This doesn't quite align with the typically understated and tranquil vibe of luxury hotels, but perhaps that's also why it offers such good value for money. The pool was crowded in the evening, but deserted in the morning, making for a refreshing swim. Additionally, it's very close to DFO South Wharf (Melbourne's largest outlet mall). We didn't know this at the time and ended up taking a taxi there from our hotel near Melbourne University later on. If we had known, it would have been much easier to just walk over from here.

GGuest UserI stayed at house 13 on March 10 2025, and there a gang of black people having a party over the night at house 12. I don't want to discrimate people and I used the word ”black” merely to describe that group of people that night. The music is very loud, and from time to time there are heavy drum beats which you can feel the vibration from the floor, and sometimes they knocked the wall of the townhouse separating house 13 / 12, and I supposed no one can sleep under this situation. Both my wife and me could not sleep but scared because they are young & strong black males. Finally we turned on the light at 2 a.m. and open the curtain to tell them to quiet from our 1/F balcony when 3 of them were arguing with a woman loudly in the common backyard. They ignored and continued! At 5 p.m. it's raining but I could not tolerate anymore, I went out to tell them silence please! A big tall black guy (not brown, very black) said ” I got you!”. Frankly speaking, I was a little bit scare., but what elase I could do?! When the reception open next day (house 1?), I complained and requested a change of room (actually house). The reception ladies are very friendly and they said they had reported the police twice that night for the noise is too loud & affecting many customers staying at different houses that night. But they do the same regardless the police warning. According to the reception, she had blacklisted this customer from booking the Quest hotel chain nationalwide (Australia) anymore. When I returned to the hotel the other day, I got a thank you card apologize for what had happened together with a bottle of wine for the inconvenience caused. Although I had a nightmare in this hotel, I think it is a one-off incident, and I will still recomend this service apartment.

XXiacunpipiluWe stayed here for four nights and it was fantastic! There were so many cute little animals right outside our door – rabbits, purple chickens, and possums were the most common. On one side of the hotel, there's a pasture with lots of cattle and sheep. Across the road is a wildlife park, and it's also really convenient to drive to the supermarket. The kitchen facilities are complete with an oven, gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and more, making it easy to cook our own meals. Plus, there's a washing machine and dryer, which made our holiday on Phillip Island so relaxing and wonderful.

Yyf_maywongThe hotel's location is super convenient! It's just a few minutes' walk to the free tram zone and the central train station, making it really easy to get to all the attractions. There are also tons of shops and restaurants nearby, so you'll find everything you need. The hotel breakfast was great too, with plenty of choices. I'd definitely stay here again next time.
