Romantic Hotels in Aichi Prefecture, Japan

Location is 5 mins walk from Nagoya main station if you're coming from another city. Easy access to bus, subway and to inner city (Sakae). Guest rooms are on 18 floor+ so you can expect a good view from the room. Amenities are not in the room so you need to pick it up from lobby. I don't know what happened but I've got no conpliment water on the first 2 nights and got it on the 3rd. The blanket and pillow is superb, Mitsui standard.

TLDR: a lot of things to love about this hotel! The hotel is well-prepared, with everything in the room and amenities in the lobby. They even have socks as souvenir, very cute. Never seen a hotel that provides hygiene sheets for room slippers before but this place does! They also have room service for food, and in-room massage / aromatherapy! And they even provide postage labels in case you need to mail stuff back home. Utility-wise, they have quite a lot of power sockets around the room, and even provide charging cable for your devices. And a special multi-purpose shower head. The room is a bit small but for what you’re getting at this price, I think it’s perfectly reasonable. They also have a security system that locks the front door during wee hours, making this place safe to stay in. The service was great too. I think some of the staff members don’t speak English but they have all the notes in English so you can just read them. Location is so convenient, just cross the road from Nagoya station and you’ve arrived. Overall very happy with the stay! They truly went above and beyond my expectations

The Nikko Style Nagoya is a truly wonderful hotel. The moment you walk into the lobby feels modern, warm and cosy. It is not your typical hotel in Japan. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. The staff at the reception were very helpful and spoke good English. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, comfortable and clean, although the bed is a little too firm for me. The buffet breakfast has a good variety, with plenty of local specialties. There is a choice of main course and I highly recommend the Japanese fish option. My only negative comment is that my used plates were not cleared quickly enough, despite the waiter walking past my table a couple of times. The location is about 12 minutes away on foot from Nagoya Stain and 20 minutes on foot from the Sakae shopping area, but there are plenty of interesting small restaurants close by. The price I paid was reasonable for the product and service offered. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

This was my second stay here, so I was already familiar with the place. It's about a 10-minute walk from Sakae Station. The room, though small, was very cozy, and the front desk staff were great; they even helped me book a taxi. It's within walking distance of the Science Museum, Osu, and Matsuzakaya. The Ichiran Ramen next door still had a line at over 9 PM, so I went in the morning, which was super convenient.

Pros: 1. Good location 2. Comfy bed for rooms with 2 beds (twin *2 set up) Cons: 1. Slow insufficient elevators to tansit from lobby at 24F to 7F or 1F (to get out of the building) 2. AC vent blows right in your face (pic 1) 3. Do not book their kind bed room as it is not an actual King bed. It is very misleading to sell king bed room when it's actually 2 beds pieced together with a thin mattress cover. (And the mattress cover is made to hide the twin bed from direct view) 4. Like others said, the sides are too small to quickly get out of the bed. Have to shuffle to the bottom of the bed to get out. Fell asleep in the middle of the bed, felt weird but was too tired and passed out. Woke up with sore back from the bed and sore drybthroat from the AC blasting in my face all night. Took a look and it seemed like a king bed (pic 2), but it felt weird so checked again and found that its not a real king bed, but 2 bed pieced together with mattress topper wrap to appear like a king bed. I felt cheated that I was sold a room with king bed but it was not a real king bed. I expected better attitude from a 4 star hotel especially it is a newer hotel and in Japan. This action is a violation of Meiyo (honor) and Shokunin (craftsman) ethics. Pic 4 & 5 & 6 helps explains it from a third party view (I wanted to make sure what I felt was not biased or due to personal preference, so I double checked with google AI for ”third person” perspective) In summary: Selling two bed pieced together as a King isn't just a ”hack”—it's a betrayal of the Wa (harmony) between the maker and the user.

This stay was really great. The hotel's overall environment was clean and tidy, and the decor was quite modern. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, making for a very relaxing stay. The location near Sakae was super convenient for dining and shopping, and getting around was a breeze. The front desk staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall, it offered excellent value for money. Highly recommend this place when visiting Nagoya.

The room is spacious and well equipped. It's a bit far from Nagoya station and not many buses around the hotel. It's a bit inconvenient. There's shuttle bus available in the morning on weekdays. Longer service time on weekends. Maybe the hotel is busy, the lounge staff wasn't too friendly. I have short hair but I found a long hair on my bed under the blanket. The bedsheet has some black colour fabric fibers but I wore light colour pajamas.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is super close to Nagoya Station, just a five-minute walk. There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, and nearby you'll find Komeda's Coffee and Sekai no Yamachan (famous for its chicken wings), along with many other shops. You can also enjoy free drinks in the lobby.

The hotel was surprisingly nice! The facilities were clean and tidy, and they provided many thoughtful amenities, even face masks and basic skincare products – very considerate and welcoming. I highly recommend it! (≧∇≦)

This hotel has an excellent location — right in front of Hisayaodori Subway Station Exit 4, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven just next door, and right behind the hotel is a lively district filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and malls. It connects directly to Oasis and Sakae, so everything is within easy walking distance. I chose a shower-only room since I rarely use a bathtub. The sink being located outside the bathroom was actually a plus for me, as it provided better lighting for makeup. The room also had a large window, which made the space feel more open and comfortable. One of the main reasons I didn’t use the shower much is because the hotel has a really nice public bath. It’s very comfortable, with both indoor and semi-outdoor areas. I absolutely loved this facility — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The hotel also collaborates with a luggage courier service that can send your suitcase to a building next to Nagoya Station (not directly inside the station), which is very convenient. I booked a room with breakfast, and although the selection was simple, everything tasted really good. There were real, hearty dishes, soup, some Western options, as well as desserts, coffee, and tea — all complete and very comforting. Some of the menu items also changed daily, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the food overall. The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, large windows, and very comfortable sofas. The staff were generally helpful, but I did encounter one issue. Aside from 2 staff members (who I believe may have been of Indian descent), the Japanese staff did not speak English. While I understand this can happen, I think having basic English skills would be very helpful, especially since this hotel accommodates many international guests. When I asked about the luggage courier service, I felt like I was being passed around between staff. Another staff member came out to assist, but unfortunately, they also did not speak English and did not attempt to use a translation app. Instead, they tried to explain using pen and paper, which made the situation quite confusing. I felt there was very little effort to communicate clearly, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has great facilities and an unbeatable location. I hope the communication aspect can be improved, as I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Thank you!
