The hotel boasts an excellent location, with its lobby on the third floor offering a distant view of the Potala Palace. The in-room humidifier and oxygen concentrator were a lifesaver, addressing the dry air and altitude sickness. Breakfast was fantastic and varied every day. A special shout-out to Sonam from concierge! We arrived late and exhausted after a long day, and he helped us with our luggage, promptly turned on the humidifier and oxygen machine. His service was incredibly thoughtful. Five-star rating!

I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're visiting Lhasa. The view of the Potala Palace from the fifth-floor restaurant is unbeatable. I didn't have dinner at the hotel but went upstairs to take photos in the evening. The hotel even offered a complimentary breakfast, and enjoying breakfast while gazing at the Potala Palace was a fantastic experience! Service: A definite plus! They proactively offered buckwheat pillows, it was quiet, and they provided a fruit platter. Facilities: There's a washing machine and dryer available. The room also came with ******* tea leaves, and the Coca-Cola was complimentary and refillable.

The environment, facilities, services, and location are great ～～ You can see the blue sky and white clouds when you open your eyes. There are menus of various restaurants in the inn, which can be delivered directly to the inn. Can you also be hungry? It will be delivered to the garden on the second floor. The rooms are clean and tidy, including the public areas. The inn has an elevator. After the check-in, the boss will still help to send the luggage to the room. It is a 5-minute walk from the Princess Wencheng to watch the show and a 10-minute drive to the Potala Palace. Recommend! recommend!

Overall, this hotel is quite good. Its location is very close to the Potala Palace, just a short walk away. It's also not far from Barkhor Street. Parking can be a bit challenging, requiring good driving skills. However, the security guard who directs parking is very nice. The service staff are quite enthusiastic. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and was the best hotel breakfast I had during my time in Tibet. I didn't experience the afternoon tea because we arrived at 7 PM. Free oxygen is available, and they even ask for your arrival time in advance and turn on the oxygen machine an hour or two before you get there. The rooms are equipped with a small tea table, which is convenient for tea drinking. In the hallway, there are various tea sets in a disinfected cabinet for guests to use. We also received some complimentary snacks in the room, which were quite good. I didn't get to experience the sleep aid package. All in all, if you're not driving in Lhasa and want to stay downtown, this hotel is a good choice.

During my stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Lhasa, I met a true guardian who brightened my trip with his sincerity and professionalism – our butler, Robert Xiang Hongwei. With every proactive greeting and meticulous action, he transformed the phrase “feeling at home” into a heartwarming reality. The best service is when guests forget they are being “served.” With Robert, I witnessed the pinnacle of hotel service: not making guests feel deliberately “cared for,” but rather, through natural kindness, having every need met silently. His every initiative, every “Okay, I’ll arrange it for you right away,” conveyed the same message: Here, you don't have to be a “guest,” just be “yourself.” The Shangri-La Hotel shines because of employees like him, and the industry is warmed by professionals like him. May this subtle light illuminate the journeys of more people, making every arrival a reunion worth looking forward to. I will definitely choose Shangri-La Hotel again for my next stay!

Since our rental car couldn't be dropped off at the airport, we urgently contacted the hotel for an airport pick-up before our flight. To our surprise, it was a Lexus! The driver was already waiting for us at the airport and warmly presented us with a Hada (a traditional ******* scarf). The hotel itself has a very distinct ******* character, and you can see mountain views from across the street. Our room number was also super charming! They provide medical-grade Yuyue oxygen concentrators, which were very effective in alleviating altitude sickness on our first day. After a good night's sleep, my headache was gone the next morning. Breakfast was plentiful, featuring ******* noodles, sweet tea, yak butter tea, and tsampa. The staff patiently taught our child how to prepare them. There were also quite a few foreign guests staying at the hotel. I highly recommend it! Additionally, there's a Northeast Chinese restaurant (now converted into a bar) nearby that's very authentic; we ended up eating there two nights in a row.

I have to give this hotel a big thumbs up! As soon as I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how spotless everything was – every corner was immaculate, and the bedding was fresh and clean. The hygiene was truly impeccable. The bed was huge, and the room even came with oxygen equipment, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. When I experienced altitude sickness, a staff member thoughtfully brought me anti-altitude sickness tea, which was a very kind gesture. I'll definitely be back!

Given the unique challenges of Lhasa's high altitude, she patiently provided essential advice on traveling, rest, and diet for high-altitude environments. She even adjusted our room's equipment and prepared oxygen facilities in advance, tailored to our situation, to help prevent altitude sickness. By pre-arranging every check-in detail, she ensured we felt completely reassured and cared for even before we arrived. Upon arrival and during our stay, Dekyi's service continued to be meticulous and attentive in every detail. She was gentle and sincere in her demeanor, yet efficient and reliable in her actions, patiently following up on our experience throughout. She regularly checked on our well-being and meticulously answered all our questions about sightseeing and dining. Whenever we had a request, she was always there to respond immediately and resolve it efficiently and properly. Her service was just right—never intrusive, yet always comprehensive, balancing professionalism with warmth. In the unfamiliar high-altitude environment, Dekyi, with her twelve years of dedication and passion, provided care that felt like family. There was no perfunctory, by-the-book service, only genuine effort. Every single detail showcased the professional caliber of a high-end butler. I truly commend Dekyi (Nancy) for her outstanding service! It's because of dedicated, responsible, and warmly enthusiastic staff like her that our stay on the ******* Plateau was so exceptionally fulfilling and heartwarming. The next time I come to Lhasa, the InterContinental Lhasa Paradise will still be my first choice, and I will definitely be looking for Butler Dekyi again!

1. This is by far the best value, most comfortable, and tastiest hotel in Lhasa. I first stayed here during the Keriya Pass trip and was so impressed that I've returned every time since, and have even recommended it to friends. 2. The service is consistently excellent, the rooms are spacious, and they provide oxygen, humidifiers, and ample heating. The parking lot is also large. 3. The breakfast is incredibly diverse and genuinely delicious – it's got that authentic wok-hei flavor! It's far superior to many five-star hotels that offer variety but lack taste. They even provide convenient individual bread portions for takeaway. 4. I didn't have time to eat fruit at breakfast, so a lovely front desk attendant kindly packed a small box for me. So thoughtful! The fruit was sweet and fresh, and the quality was excellent. 5. Because of this Lhasa hotel, I now only consider staying at Pingcuo Kangsang hotels whenever I'm in Tibet. I truly recommend it!

I chose this hotel because I had an early morning flight the next day; it's about a 10-minute drive from the airport. The rooms are container-style, and the soundproofing isn't great. They're also too small for a family of three, but fine for a one-night stay. As for the scenery, the views of the Yarlung Tsangpo River and the starry sky are absolutely stunning. It would definitely be beautiful in spring with the peach blossoms.
