Wow! Just wow! I looked at this place online and I was like I totally love it and I really wanted to stay in the old city as part of the experience of going to Pingyaogucheng. The hosts were super helpful picking me up from the station communicating via the Trip/app so I didn’t have to stress about communication issues. I stayed in a kang room just near the courtyard. It was really comfortable a little chair and table, TV (not that I used it) kettle, private bathroom. It’s really convenient to go to a lot of the central places for sightseeing and also great food and snacks. You can try some homemade alcohol and vinegar - and yes you get a bottle of vinegar to take with you at the end of your stay.

Enter the hotel one step at a time, one courtyard and one private soup. The location is excellent, the housekeeper parks on behalf of the car, the luggage is delivered to the room and introduces various configurations. The reception service at the front desk was warm and thoughtful, and I was very satisfied with a stay experience. I felt the warmth of home here. There are welcome tea breaks: fruit snacks, various drinks in the refrigerator, afternoon tea and coffee. Intimate supplies: disposable face towels + toilet seat ➕ Hot spring rose bath salt. There was a small surprise when checking out. The hotel prepared a souvenir for the guests. Every small gift can be felt as carefully selected and has a meaning. Every detail of the hotel is like a careful calculation. In order to illuminate the hearts of the guests, it is an ideal place to stay in the ancient city.

We checked into Yunman·Xi at 0930. We were afraid that we would not be able to find the hotel at night, so the lady came to pick us up at the parking lot of the ancient city bar. It is very convenient to park and take a taxi there. Facilities: There are not many rooms in the hotel. Each room has a private pool where you can put hot spring water for hot spring bathing (P6). There are curtains so you don’t have to worry about them showing through. It’s very comfortable. You can shower directly next to the pool. There is a Xiaoai classmate in the room, which can intelligently control the air conditioner and TV with voice. Environment: The hotel is decorated in a very bourgeois style, with a koi pond and camping chairs (P7-9, 11). It is very comfortable to drink tea and enjoy the breeze. There is an observation deck on the second floor. We checked in at night, and the night view was beautiful. During the day, refer to P8, 12-13, 1001🇨🇳 is also in time for the National Day When I checked out, I happened to encounter a truck transporting hot spring water (P14). The proprietress said that the store is close to the parking lot and transports it at least twice a day. The hot spring water released from the hot spring is all hot spring water. We were so busy watching this process that we forgot to take pictures hahh😂 I would also like to mention Yunman·Xi’s mascot (P15) - September (named September because they picked up a stray cat in September). It is a super beautiful silver gradient folded ear and very cute. Small, not afraid of life I stayed for one night and had a good rest. The proprietress and the ladies were very nice. I recommend everyone to choose their home and go to the hot springs again next time♨️

I had the most beautiful time in Datong, and a big part of that was due to my stay at Renyi Inn! First of all, the host is so kind and friendly. She always greets you with a smile. She even brought fresh watermelon for free everyday to my room :) more importantly, the whole hotel as well as the room we're super clean. The interior was so beautifully traditional. And it's only a 3min walk away from the major temple and all the main shopping streets. If you stay in Datong (which you definitely should, it has so much to offer), stay at Renyi Inn!

This hotel is located in the ancient city of Xinzhou. It has an elegant environment, hygienic and comfortable environment, and convenient parking. Tea, snacks and moon cakes are provided in the room, making people feel at home and warm. Especially the service attitude is very good. They changed rooms for us twice until we were satisfied. The hotel also provided late night snacks in the evening, but because it was a bit late, I didn't try them. In addition, when I left the hotel, I left behind a bamboo folding clothes hanger that has been with me for decades in work and travel. Traveling for business used to mean staying at chain hotels, so I was pleasantly surprised to book one of Datong's top two hotels this time. The off-season rate was incredibly good value. The facilities are top-notch, and the service was beyond satisfactory. The breakfast, in particular, was very extensive; it's the first time I've ever had steak for breakfast at a hotel! The check-in and check-out processes were simple and convenient, and they even upgraded my room proactively. I'll definitely choose this hotel first for my next business trip to Datong!

Super heartwarming hot spring homestay experience, highly recommended! I chose this hot spring homestay for this short trip, and I was so satisfied! From the moment I stepped into the courtyard, I was struck by the full atmosphere-the log-style building is matched with green plants, antique and fresh, and every shot is a blockbuster. The room is very carefully decorated, clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the smart home equipment is fully equipped, which is a delight for detail control! The highlight of the private hot spring is even more amazing, the water temperature is just right, soaking in the pool and looking at the mountain view outside the window, the fatigue of the whole day is instantly dissipated. I heard from the boss that the hot spring water is all natural, and the skin is slippery after soaking, which is super comfortable~ What touched me most was the service. The staff was enthusiastic and considerate. Not only did they prepare fruits and snacks in advance, but they also patiently recommended the surrounding travel guide. The breakfast is an exquisite local specialty food, with fresh ingredients and super taste! This experience is perfect. I have made an appointment with my friends to come again next time. I booked this guesthouse for one night at the last minute, as I couldn't find a hotel room for Saturday during the tail end of my holiday. However, the experience was quite good, exceeding my expectations. Next time, I'd definitely stay for a few more days. The only minor downsides, objectively speaking, were the soundproofing and blackout capabilities. However, these are common issues for most guesthouses located in historic buildings. The room was quiet and tidy, with quality bathroom amenities. What truly deserves praise about this place is the staff. They were always friendly and greeted guests warmly, contacting me in advance about my itinerary. Upon arrival, they helped with my luggage, recommended routes, and offered sound advice. Breakfast was very enjoyable and peaceful. A touch of soft background music, however, would have actually enhanced the experience. This guesthouse is situated right behind 'A Dream of Datong', faces the pedestrian street, and Huayan Temple is just across the road. It's also very close to the city wall's climbing entrance. It's a great choice for visiting the ancient city – a true oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle. This time, I only brought my child, but next time, our family of three will definitely come together to experience it.

A very pleasant stay. Although the hotel is in the ancient city, the environment is very elegant, clean and tidy, and most importantly, it is very quiet. The room facilities are complete, the bedding and toiletries are very clean. We brought disposable quilt covers and checked the bedding, which felt very clean, so we didn't bring our own. The air conditioner has heating, and the room has a bathtub. You can drink tea, eat fruits and snacks (prepared by the hotel) while taking a bath. It's so comfortable! The hotel is really considerate. They provide disposable bath bags, dried roses, disposable toilet seats, bath salts, and facial cleansers. They are really friendly! ! The only drawback is that the door card is not very sensitive, otherwise it is perfect.
