Romantic Hotels in Henan, China

Extremely satisfied with my hotel experience. The hotel's location is convenient to everything, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The service was excellent, with a very patient front desk staff. They informed us at check-in that the 9th floor was undergoing renovations, but there was no noise disturbance at all. There are many shopping malls nearby, making last-minute shopping very convenient. The hotel also offers a shuttle service; the car was very clean, the driver was punctual and provided great service, and was also very chatty. The hotel breakfast was abundant and tasted good. Overall, I am very satisfied.

This is a good choice when I made my booking to an unknown city. Location wise so near to main attraction such as Louyang Ancient City. It does not sit exactly in the main street so you have to walk a bit roughly 200m inside. With luggage maybe found bit difficulty as uneven stone pathway to the hotel. Though this should not dampen your mood for staying here. I got ground floor. I guess those without balcony were given groud floor. It have high floor to ceiling window/sliding door facing the main pathway. Can't really open the curtain then everyone pass though will see you. Upper floor should not have this issue. There this side upright chair/cusyen where one can just sit and lounge around eating all the snack one just bought outside the street. TV is big I do not have time to watch any. I think tis the subscription version. All necessary amenities is available. 🤷 There's washing machine but only operational 10am to 10pm and I didn't have time to use it. Ground floor may have issue with sound as I can hear upstairs things moving around but I'm so tired from all day walk so this just temporary nuisance. All in all I highly recommend this place if the area you intended to visit is around the hotel.

Staying in the 'Big Corn' building, overlooking Zhengzhou's city center and Ruyi Lake, was truly a wonderful and amazing experience. **Facilities**: This JW Marriott has been open for some years now, and while the room design shows its age, all the facilities are very well-maintained, and the rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy. **Service**: The service here is genuinely excellent. From top to bottom, every front desk staff member and server I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, living up to the JW luxury brand. **Breakfast**: It's a standard offering for a luxury hotel, not particularly stunning, but sufficiently plentiful and delicious. Plus, the restaurant is quite spacious, able to accommodate guests during peak dining hours. **41st Floor Executive Lounge Benefits**: Due to my schedule this trip, I didn't get a chance to enjoy the executive lounge benefits. I will definitely try it next time!

The hotel's location is truly excellent and quite central. To the right, just straight out of the hotel, is the Ancient City of Weidu. Not far behind the hotel is Chunqiu Tower (which you can also reach by walking from the Ancient City of Weidu), and across the street is Pang Dong Lai Times Square. If you head left from the hotel, you can get to Wenfeng Pagoda (passing by Pang Dong Lai). Maybe I just enjoy walking, so anything within 15 minutes doesn't feel like a big deal, haha. For Baling Bridge and the museum, you'll need a taxi, but they're quite close, so a taxi ride isn't expensive – it's just a bit far to walk. Wanda Plaza is also quite close if you take a taxi. The hotel environment is very comfortable, and the rooms are also very comfortable, clean, and tidy. I had a very pleasant stay. Plus, the hotel service is absolutely fantastic! The front desk and every staff member were wonderful – very gentle and polite, and they handled things incredibly fast and efficiently. I really give this a huge thumbs up!

The environment here is great, and the sunken bathtub in the room is huge, making for a very relaxing soak. The hotel provides a shuttle bus that drops you off right at the entrance, and it's just a 3-minute walk to the Duanmen Gate of Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. However, the hotel's service left a lot to be desired. My daughter got sick and needed to go to the hospital urgently, but when I asked the front desk for help, their responses were incredibly cold and unhelpful. They said things like, ”You can search for a hospital yourself,” ”Call a taxi yourself,” and ”We don't know.” While I ended up arranging everything myself, their completely indifferent attitude was really off-putting.

We were a group of six and drove from Yexian to Kaifeng yesterday. We stumbled upon this B&B online during our drive. The pillows and mattresses were so comfortable that we slept soundly until morning! We all agreed it was fantastic and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kaifeng. When we checked out today, they even gave each of us a souvenir. We were truly touched by their thoughtfulness! Also, since we drove, they helped us with our luggage. They also gave us excellent recommendations for where to eat and where to buy local specialties. We truly felt cared for and could relax and enjoy our time in Kaifeng without a worry. Thumbs up to these entrepreneurs! They really put their heart into it!

My stay at Sofitel Zhengzhou was excellent. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the French-style dome in the lobby – it looked grand and incredibly well-designed. The overall decor truly embodies that French elegance, with meticulous attention to detail that perfectly captures luxury without being ostentatious. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was thoughtful, and the whole experience had a distinct French flair. Staying here in Zhengzhou is definitely worth it.

I have to rave about the facilities at this hotel! The desk in the room is huge, with plenty of space for a laptop, documents, and even a tea set, making it perfect for both work and relaxation. The bathroom is also fantastic; the sink area is spotless, the lighting around the mirror is excellent for grooming, and all the amenities are well-stocked. The rainfall showerhead in the shower area is an absolute dream—the water pressure is consistent, and the temperature is easy to adjust, making for a super relaxing hot shower. Overall, the hardware here is top-notch; everything is new and well-maintained. It's a truly comfortable stay and offers great value for money!

The location is great, right next to Qingming Riverside Landscape Park, about a 300-meter walk to the scenic area. Public transportation is convenient, making it easy to get around and find food. There's also an underground parking lot, which is very convenient for parking. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Check-in was efficient, and they were always ready to assist with any request. They even proactively shared local travel tips. The little cats and dogs in the courtyard were also adorable. The room facilities were complete, and the underfloor heating was wonderfully warm – though a humidifier would be a nice bonus. The hairdryer and toilet in the room were excellent, and the hot water was very comfortable. Each room has a unique design, perfect for couples. Overall, my stay was comfortable and pleasant, offering great value for money. I'll definitely come back again!

The intern at the front desk, Sun Junyi, was lovely and enthusiastic, much better than the two people who were there on the day I checked in! The check-in process was so inefficient; from the moment I walked in, no one paid any attention to me while I was queuing. I just stood there! Couldn't a staff member or someone nearby at least offer a greeting? The room itself was still good, although a bit old, but the cleanliness, layout, and essential standards were all met. The soundproofing was truly excellent; I even wondered if there was anyone else on that floor. For someone like me who has trouble sleeping, this was a blessing.
