"Breakfast was a bit chaotic, and the room was indeed too small; I couldn't figure out where to open my suitcase. However, the service attitude was excellent, and the room hygiene was good. It's close to the beach, with a small path leading right there. The hotel offers electric scooter rentals, which you can use to get to Qinhuangxiaoxiang. They also provided a complimentary photo service, but we didn't have time to take advantage of it."

"I booked a suite, and upon arrival, it was upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment. The space was huge, with a sea view and a large terrace. It was quite clean. You could tell the decor was a bit dated and showed its age. Hot water was provided by a water heater, so for three people showering, you had to be quick. If there are more people, I'd suggest booking separate rooms, as there wouldn't be enough hot water.
The hotel is very close to the beach, and there's a wash-off area at the entrance to rinse off sand, which is very convenient. They provide some sand toys like buckets, shovels, and clamming tools, on a first-come, first-served basis. There's also an entertainment castle, which isn't very large and tends to have more older kids, so it's not ideal for toddlers under 3.
The hotel's restaurant can prepare children's meals without seasoning. Breakfast was also abundant. The local seafood was quite fresh, and steamed dishes were common.
Service: Free drinking water is provided. When I called the front desk for something, it was delivered very quickly."

"My stay at Jinshi International was absolutely perfect! I especially want to highlight the buffet breakfast and the free shuttle service. The breakfast had a great variety, blending both Chinese and Western options. The local donkey meat pancake and lamb intestine soup were authentic, and they even had low-fat whole grains and fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, so I could eat healthily even while on a diet. The dishes were refilled promptly and were clean and fresh. I pre-booked the shuttle to the high-speed rail station, and the driver was waiting on time, actively helping with my luggage. It saved me both hassle and money getting to and from the station. The room was clean, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. All my travel and dining needs were well taken care of. This is my top choice for business travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Cangzhou."

"Excellent! Absolutely fantastic! They even have EV charging stations in the courtyard, which is a huge plus for us driving all the way from Beijing. The courtyard is spacious, and it's so close to the sea – very relaxing! Parking is also super convenient.
The room was very clean, and the facilities were new. The air conditioning was quite advanced, with modes like 'comfort breeze' and 'sleep' functions.
The room featured large, panoramic windows, providing excellent natural light.
Both the front desk staff, the young lady and gentleman, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I asked about the gym, someone immediately escorted me there. Their service was top-notch; they provided everything I asked for, whether it was extra blankets, kids' slippers, or water. Truly great! Highly recommended!"

"The lake view room at Huohua Hotel is superb, the living environment is incredibly beautiful. It's a suite, very spacious, with two large beds in the bedroom and a large bay window. The room temperature was just right; even with the outside temperature around 10 degrees Celsius at night in summer, the room was neither cold nor hot, very comfortable. The hot water temperature was also perfect, very accommodating for guests. The balcony is huge and even has a hanging chair, which the kids loved. It's perfect for families traveling with children. The sightseeing train in the underground shopping street is also excellent, and the driver was incredibly friendly and explained everything in great detail."

"The young lady at the hotel was very enthusiastic; she even came out to help with our luggage, and her service attitude was excellent. The hotel room was spacious, looked clean and tidy, and all the disposable amenities were readily available. The hotel's location is great, right next to Jinlong Shopping Plaza, and very close to the Summer Resort, within walking distance. It's also not far from the Eight Outer Temples scenic area, about a 10 yuan taxi ride away. I had a wonderful stay this time, and I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengde."

"The hotel was excellent! It's well-equipped with very new facilities. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping cleaned it daily. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and reminded us of everything and made all the arrangements. The customer service staff were also very good and thoughtful. There's both underground and above-ground parking, which was very convenient. The breakfast was plentiful, a great mix of Chinese and Western options with lots of variety. For dinner, we ordered à la carte at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious – really good."

TTaiyangbaba0608Whenever I visit Gu'an, I always choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the surrounding area is fantastic with plenty of dining and shopping options. Central Park is just across the street, perfect for a leisurely stroll after dinner – it's incredibly relaxing. The only downside this time of year is the abundance of poplar catkins, which can be quite annoying.

QQiaopangziThis time I came during the start of the seafood season, but it wasn't peak season yet, so there were far fewer people. The lower floors were cheaper, while the higher-floor sea view rooms were more expensive. Standard rooms were affordable, but those with family-friendly tents or designs cost more. Currently, the first and second canteens are not open, but they will be during peak season. It's less than a ten-minute walk to the beach. Inside the resort, there are individually-owned electric vehicles available for one, two, three, or four people, with different models. The price is a bit high at 69 yuan per hour. However, these are not affiliated with the hotel, so if there are any issues or disputes, the hotel will not intervene. The hotel's front desk and housekeeping staff were very professional; they immediately provided room service even when called late at night. Many thanks!

AAnonymous UserThis is my second stay at this beachfront hotel, and the experience is still absolutely fantastic! 👍 It's so close to the coast, you feel like you can almost reach out and touch the waves 🌊.
In the morning, I love watching the sunrise from bed, as the morning sun slowly rises over the sea, filling the room with a soft, incredibly healing light ✨.
Stepping out of the hotel, it's just a one-minute walk to the beach. You can set up tents for free there ⛺, and I really enjoy the feeling of diving into the sea and embracing the waves – it's a wonderful way to clear your mind. (Oh, and the hotel provides free swimming rings 😉).
Finally, I really want to mention that the owner is still as warm and attentive as ever. Both at check-in and check-out, they thoughtfully offer homegrown fruits 🍉. These small, warm gestures are hidden in every little detail 💛.

The hotel is just a few steps away from Jinmeng Beach, perfect for taking the kids to play in the waves and dig in the sand anytime. The high-floor sea view balcony offers expansive views, and I enjoyed sitting there admiring the seascape during my downtime. The heated swimming pool and children's water play area are well-equipped, making it ideal for families with kids. Our room was clean and tidy, and the staff were responsive. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. This seaside trip was truly relaxing and enjoyable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Qinhuangdao.

Environment: Super nice! I booked in advance and got a sea-view room. I could watch the sunrise and sunset perfectly in the morning and evening.
Service: Compared to other places, the service is absolutely fantastic! The front desk lady was very helpful. After checking in, you can add her on WeChat, and if you need anything, just say the word and it'll be delivered quickly. I highly recommend everyone to come here!

AAnnaDariaI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It reminded me a little of my childhood holidays by the seaside in Poland in the early 2000s. The furniture is beautiful, made of solid wood, and everything is clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful, and the view is fantastic.

Most importantly, the room did not smell of cigarette smoke, which is quite rare in China, even when you book a non-smoking room. Here, they really made sure the room was completely free of cigarette smell, and I truly appreciated that.
You can also use the hotel's restaurant and order dishes from the menu for an additional charge. The food is good, and it's a lovely place to have dinner while enjoying the sea view. The only downside is that they don't serve wine. Having a glass of wine would make the experience even better, especially for European guests.
There is direct access to the more commercial beach via the stairs right next to the hotel, while a quieter, less crowded beach is just a 5–10 minute walk away. I highly recommend this place.

KKexinertaniangArcadia is a well-established entertainment complex with meticulously maintained pools, lawns, and beaches. We booked a pet-friendly room, and upon check-in, the resort arranged a shuttle to take us to Zone 3. The room was incredibly spacious, with great natural light, and they even provided a pet welcome kit, which thoughtfully included tick repellent spray. Right outside our door were a lawn and a pool, which our dog absolutely loved, and our child had a blast too. It's definitely a top choice for family trips! Our personal butler regularly checked in to see if we needed anything, which was a very thoughtful touch. All in all, I highly recommend Arcadia!
