Every time I travel, I agonize over which hotel to choose. I usually check out highly-rated hotels and see what their negative reviews say. For my trip to Zhangye, I also picked from several hotels. My personal experience was fantastic, exceeding my expectations. I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in some reviews. The staff were all young, vibrant, and the service was simply impeccable. From pick-up at the station to drop-off at the airport, every detail made me feel incredibly comfortable. The room was also spotlessly clean. The hotel's breakfast was the best I've had on this trip – a wide variety of options and a spacious dining area. For this price, staying at a hotel like this is incredibly good value for money.

I stayed at the Kaoshan Diving Tent Hotel and it was a truly unique experience. The location is excellent — an oasis of peace right next to the stunning Rainbow Mountains. The atmosphere is incredibly romantic and relaxing, perfect for couples or anyone seeking calm in nature. The tents are comfortable, spacious, and full of character, offering a wonderful glamping feel. The staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming. A special mention goes to John, who went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. In the evening, the restaurant area is filled with soft piano music that adds to the serene vibe. The only minor downside was the shared bathrooms, which weren’t perfectly clean, especially the showers. Overall, this is a memorable, relaxing stay immersed in nature. Highly recommended for a special experience near Zhangye’s Danxia! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel is in a convenient location and is well-furnished and my room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is very satisfactory. The front desk staff were helpful and polite; special thanks to Xiao Wang and Xiao Xie who very patiently helped me with my laundry and with getting the bus to Maiji Shan. 😊

For my trip to Dunhuang, I specifically chose the Shazhou Glamping Camp, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations. I have to praise their service – it's incredibly reliable. Before I even arrived, they sent messages proactively reminding me about the desert's day-night temperature differences, suggesting what to wear, and even provided travel tips based on my itinerary. During check-in and luggage transport, they were always ready to lend a hand. Once settled, they were on call for anything I needed. Whether I wanted hot water in the evening, had questions about camp activities, or needed a car at short notice, their response was always super quick. They were diligent and patient in their work, never just going through the motions. The camp environment is exceptional. You step right out into the vast desert, and the stargazing at night is spectacular. The accommodation itself is clean and comfortable. Overall, my stay was incredibly worry-free and relaxing. For anyone visiting Dunhuang and wanting a desert accommodation experience, I genuinely recommend this place; both the service and the environment are top-notch!

Facilities: Very unique! It's a distinctive place to stay near Mingsha Mountain. The lobby immediately gives you the feeling of an inn in the middle of the desert. Hygiene: Excellent, almost nothing to complain about. The toiletries, like the toothpaste, toothbrushes, and combs, were all very comfortable to use. Environment: The 'Star-Gazing Pavilion' on the fourth floor is a highlight; breakfast and afternoon coffee are served there. When there's no sandstorm, you get an unobstructed panoramic view of Mingsha Mountain. Service: Impeccable! I stayed in Dunhuang for four nights, three of which were at this resort, and I was extremely satisfied. The staff even greeted us with 'Welcome home' when they saw us again. Two Dunhuang camel plushies: Received. Two Dunhuang old-fashioned yogurts: Drank.

This hotel is located in Lanzhou Old Street, offering a quiet retreat amidst a bustling area. We were upgraded to a quieter room, which really made for a comfortable night's sleep. The facilities are good too; it would be even more convenient if there was a coffee table to place things on. What truly impressed me the most was the hotel's service. All the staff members were warm and friendly, including the cleaning aunties, who provided timely and attentive service. They even thoughtfully prepared a 'cheer-up' kit for us participants of the Lanzhou Marathon, which included various snacks, cooling patches, and band-aids – something I've never encountered before! There was also a special backdrop in the hotel lobby, showing how much effort Lanzhou as a city put into making this event a success. It was truly touching. The hotel is conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from Matan Metro Station, with plenty of bus routes nearby. I really enjoyed Lanzhou Old Street; it has everything for dining, lodging, and entertainment. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lanzhou.

The service was excellent, you could tell the hotel put a lot of thought and effort into their operations. The value for money during the May Day holiday was also fantastic! Upon arrival, security guards directed me to parking, helped with luggage, and guided me through check-in – a big shout-out to the security team! The front desk staff thoughtfully offered hot water and towels to clean hands during check-in, which was a very nice touch. Plus, a dedicated staff member helped bring my luggage directly to my room door. The room was prepped with a foot bath and cucumbers for a facial, and the bedding was very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!

Traveling to Dunhuang, staying at Nashashan B&B is full of happiness on the whole trip, I really recommend it to all friends who come to Mingsha Mountain to play. The most worry-free is the free pick-up and drop-off service. Before landing, make an appointment with the boss. The driver is waiting at the airport on time. The large luggage is helped to carry the whole process. The return journey is also intimately arranged to drop off the plane. You don't have to take a taxi to drag the suitcase. It saves a lot of trouble and is especially friendly to long-distance tourists. The staff in the store were warm and thoughtful throughout the whole process, with a gentle and patient attitude. Just arrived at the homestay to carefully explain the surrounding routes, inform Mingsha Mountain to watch the sunrise, Crescent Spring to take pictures of the best time, and also actively recommend authentic seafood snacks and cost-effective specialty shops. Any demand on weekdays is responded quickly, helping to store luggage, borrowing sunscreen supplies, the subtleties are particularly warm, as comfortable as living in an acquaintance's home. The quality of breakfast far exceeded expectations, and the variety was very rich, taking into account the taste of the north and south. There are steamed buns, flower rolls, corn porridge, millet porridge, with cold side dishes, boiled eggs, and Dunhuang special apricot skin water, handmade noodles, fresh ingredients, the weight is real, eat enough and drink enough to go to the desert to play, all day full of energy, light warm stomach is very suitable for the northwest dry climate. The room hygiene is meticulous, the whole house is cleaned, the bedding is soft and odorless, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the hot water is stable and sufficient. Considering the dry climate in Dunhuang, each room is equipped with a humidifier, and the living comfort is greatly improved. The homestay is very close to Mingsha Mountain, and you can reach the scenic spot on foot. In the evening, the evening breeze is blowing in the small courtyard, and you can see the sand dunes setting sun. The courtyard is elegantly furnished and full of northwest style. The overall price is super high, transportation, catering, service, environment are all online, the butler is intimate and meticulous, and the one-stop food, lodging and travel are very suitable. Whether it is a couple's trip or a family trip, it is very suitable. Next time I come to Dunhuang, I still prefer Nasha Mountain. Amway has prepared for relatives and friends around me to travel.

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed at this hotel. I just stumbled upon these beautiful photos from a previous stay in my album today and couldn't resist sharing them. Every time I walk in, I'm drawn to the authentic, down-to-earth vibe. The front desk staff are always so welcoming, eagerly greeting us and helping with our luggage. The rooms are spotless and incredibly comfortable. But the absolute best part is the snow outside the window. Waking up and drawing the curtains to a pristine white landscape, with snowflakes gently drifting down – it instantly puts me in a fantastic mood. I also have to rave about the hotel's pour-over coffee. The freshly ground beans are so aromatic, and the coffee itself is rich and smooth, not bitter at all. A warm cup in the morning, enjoyed while gazing at the snowy scenery, is pure bliss. The service is also exceptionally thoughtful; any request is met quickly and efficiently. Next time I'm in Jiayuguan, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

The hostel is good cared and clean. I think I saw a housekeeper every time when I went out from my room and she was always cleaning smth. That attitude already says a lot about the place. There is a nice not big common area with TV and we even watched a bit of Titanic, water dispenser with available cold and hot water. The staff is speaking English and they organise different tours around the area. It’s very handy. We took 2 tours with them and enjoyed a lot. One to PingShanHu canyon and another to Colourful Danxia. We also met many good-hearted foreign and local travellers there and made friends with some. Speaking about the room the condition was good enough. We shared one room with my friend. It’s a great value for money. Thank you for the incredible stay!
