The hotel is located high up in the town, offering a great view of Cappadocia's unique landscape. The surroundings are beautiful, and you can see hot air balloons and the sunrise in the morning. The hotel proactively contacted us via WeChat before our arrival and stayed in touch throughout our journey. Our flight didn't land until 11:30 PM, but the front desk attendant patiently waited for us and even helped with our luggage – very professional! The cave room was spacious and very clean, and it wasn't stuffy like I had imagined. We stayed for two nights, and the bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful; even though there were some items we weren't used to, it was clear they put in a lot of effort. On the second day, they even made Chinese noodles, which was a thoughtful touch and very welcoming to Chinese guests. Our flight back to Istanbul was at 10 PM, and it was quite cold during the day. The hotel not only allowed us to play cards in the lobby but also provided complimentary tea and coffee. We're very grateful for their excellent service. Highly recommended!
Staff is very polite and nice. Sweet and lovely people. Other guests were also friendly. Would recommend this peace if you want peace and calmness. Gerome hot air baloon is also close to it, almost 15 minutes drive.

На Трип адвизор выбрали этот отель потому что устроила цена за ночь, удобное расположение ( недалеко от въезда и центра). Отель небольшой, есть место для парковки. В основном как мне показалось, там останавливаются местные жители. Номер чистый, все есть. Персонал по русски не разговаривает, по английски стараются, но понять практически невозможно🤦. Но это мелочи, так как встретили и разместили без проблем. В стоимость входит завтрак - типа шведский стол. Так же без изысков но вкусно,голодными точно не останетесь. К тому же в 100 метрах от отеля 100500 кафешек. Вообщем для одно- двух дневной ночевки очень даже ничего.

The cleanliness left something to be desired; the room had a very bad smell, and even though they ”cleaned,” it didn't change until my partner cleaned the bathroom floor. Otherwise, everything was fine
We like the hotel. The room is cozy, and the bed and pillows are comfy. The bath towel is super big, thick and fluffy. The gym is well-equipped, and indoor swimming is also very nice. Water pressure and temperature could be bigger.
It was a wonderful vacation. The hotel is very well located and the hotel owner and his mother Sibel are very helpful and supportive, the other staff are also always friendly and helpful. We can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience.

This was the best hotel I stayed in during my trip. It feels like a small resort — very comfortable with lots of outdoor space. The restaurant is excellent, offering a variety of drinks and snacks, and everything is on a tab system so you can just settle at check-out.
There’s even a small zoo in the middle of the property, which makes it perfect for families. The location is also great — only about a 10-minute walk to the city center.

I call his home a gallery. The hotel owner is tall and handsome. I feel like the service staff are his wives. He wants to marry four of them.
The room is nice. You can see the view of Baolei from the back window. The room is large and has heating. It was too hot at night, so I turned off the heating.
The breakfast is great and rich. There are delicious small fried dough sticks and hot sauce... But you have to go early, otherwise the delicious food will be eaten up by others.
 The hotels here are like futures. The daily prices can differ several times! His is the most conscientious hotel I have booked in the past few days. The daily price is basically constant!
Very accommodating front desk staff: early check in, swimming pool use on second day even though we had checked out and had all day tour (we were waiting for a night train), gluten free bread and lactose free breakfast options, terrace from which you can watch the morning baloons, and friendly local cats. The reasonably priced suite was extremely charming and comfortable. Only complaint is the lack of exercise room. The equipment was next to swimming pool by seemingly discarded. Would stay again.

GGuest UserOur stay at Simurg Cave House Hotel was the best stay so far in our 12 day road trip around Cappadocia. What made it so special was the staff, and in particular Bursa! Her English was brilliant (our Turkish is nonexistent) and she told us of things to do, places to visit, etc. She really pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a relaxing pleasant stay. She even helped us with our next accommodation stay due to a technical problem we were having.
The breakfast was phenomenal and we felt full until dinner. The rooms are beautiful and extremely quiet do we got a great nights sleep. A quiet room is a priority for me!
On our arrival at the hotel there was a lot of noisy construction work going on and Bursa dealt with it so we could get some rest after our long journey. It would have been nice if there hadn't been any construction work going on but we understand improvements have to be done sometime! The only thing I'd suggest to the hotel is that they spruce up the rooms when the guests go out for the day. For example, there is a coffee machine in the room but we were never given more coffee or clean cups, and we stayed 3 nights. But other than that, the stay was perfect and we'd definitely return again! And we hope the lovely Bursa is there to greet us.

GGuest UserWe stayed with a group of eight friends. The hotel has a great location and beautiful design. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need, beautifully decorated, and clean. Because the hotel is a cave-style building, there's always sand on the floor. The breakfasts were delicious. Cons: We asked for twin rooms, but unfortunately, none of the six rooms had single beds. We bought a melon and asked reception for a knife. They sent us to the restaurant, but they refused to help us there either, not even offering to cut it for a fee. The hammam didn't work, the sauna was useless because it was cold, and the pool was very cold.
