We stayed as a couple, and the front desk staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and it was very comfortable.
The large public bath is a natural hot spring, and there is also a jacuzzi, sauna, regular bath, open-air bath, and mist bath (a room with warm mist spouting out), which we really enjoyed.
The hair dryers were Dyson for men and ReFa for women.
There was also a water cooler and massage chairs, making it a very fulfilling experience.
My daughters stayed here, the dinner was delicious, and the hot springs were amazing! The hotel receptionist was very good at keeping us warm and spoke good English, so they were very satisfied and it was a great place. The view was also nice.
Stayed for 4 nights, skiing for 3 days was just right (tangram + madarao). Booked a room with ski tickets and breakfast and dinner included, which was a good deal. The room was large and clean, the hotel offers hot springs, ski in ski out. The hotel ski resort can ski across the Banwei Plateau, which is also fun. The buffet selection is good, and I am very satisfied with everything. In addition, you can go to the top of the mountain to see Lake Nojiri and enjoy coffee. Great.
It's the second time I stayed here after 5 years. Because the price increased so much during the Chinese New Year, I only stayed for one night, but the children still liked it very much. They could find candies to eat, and there were snacks in the evening. There was milk and ice cream in the hot springs. I was satisfied with everything. Although the hotel is old, it is well maintained. The hot springs have a light smell of sulfur. Every day after skiing, the snacks and hot springs are super comfortable. The only drawback is that the location is a little bit off. You can either take the hotel shuttle or the ski resort shuttle to go out.
We stayed for two nights on a family trip. The hotel is a luxurious establishment with three hotels, a chapel, and a wedding reception hall on a vast site of 230,000 square meters, and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing time. The breakfast buffet and French dinner were delicious, and the service was excellent. There was also a large hot spring bath, and there was plenty of greenery, so it was a pleasant walk. I recommend staying two or even three nights instead of just one.
Although the hotel name says Karuizawa, it is actually in Miyota-cho next door (locals also complained to me because no one came if it was only Miyota). It costs 6,000-7,000 yen to take a taxi from Karuizawa to the hotel. The shuttle taxi arranged by the hotel can only pick up at Miyota Station (take the Shinano Railway, three stations away from Karuizawa).
I told the hotel that I wanted to celebrate my mother's birthday, so I prepared greeting cards, desserts and bear towels, but compared with the previous hotels that were not so expensive, it seemed a bit cheap.
There is no extra charge for soft drinks and alcoholic drinks in the room refrigerator. They are provided according to the number of people. We have four people staying (four bottles of local apple juice, four bottles of local peach juice, four cans of Suntory oolong tea, four bottles of Perrier, four cans of Karuizawa beer, four cans of Yebisu beer and two bottles of local sparkling wine). The content provided is also a bit average compared to other Japanese hotels of the same price that provide Moët & Chandon champagne.
The dinner content is sufficient and delicious, and the chef will come to meet at the end.
The marshmallow roasting activity is from 17:00 to 19:00.
Check out at 11:00 the next morning, and the hotel also provides free delivery service to Miyota Station.
This hotel has few reviews on Ctrip and XHS, and its advantages and disadvantages are very obvious.
Advantages:
1. It is a ski-in and ski-out hotel, and the cable car entrance of Norikura Ski Resort is just downstairs from the hotel (Norikura Ski Resort has very few people on weekdays, and there is a super flat family ski slope, which is very suitable for beginners to practice, but you need to do a lift to get up)
2. There are ski equipment rentals and storage boxes downstairs of the hotel, which is very convenient, and guests have their own storage boxes
3. The reservation includes breakfast and dinner, which are all buffets. There are not many categories, and the taste is good
4. The hotel has a very famous hot spring, which is very comfortable to bathe in. There is an open-air pool that directly sees the ski slope, which is very beautiful. If you stay, you must enjoy this hot spring
5. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Otari Village Station, and you can choose to take it from this station to Itoigawa Station. From this station, you can directly take the Kita-ji Shinkansen to Tokyo in 2 hours
6. The reservation was for 3 people, and the room given was very large with 2 beds. The bed is small and can only sleep one person, but the tatami can sleep 2-3 people
7. When I checked in, there was a young man who could speak Chinese and introduced the hotel facilities and other details very enthusiastically. I gave him a thumbs up
Disadvantages:
1. The area around the hotel is very desolate. The hotel provided breakfast and dinner for 3 days and 2 nights. Lunch was eaten at the ski resort restaurant at the ski resort. The free soup at the ski resort restaurant was very delicious and had a lot of crabs
2. To go from the hotel to other ski resorts, you need to take the ski resort bus or paid bus at the hotel entrance
3. There are no convenience stores around the hotel
The accommodation is clean and there is plenty of parking. However, it is suitable for those who drive on foot. There are no pajamas provided. The bath products, hair care products, and nourishing creams are so good that you might want to buy some to take home. There is a coin-operated washing machine with a wide selection of detergents. The digital door is difficult to open, so you have to wait for the right moment. Overall, it is worth it and a good choice for those who love peace and quiet.
There is a bus transfer from the JR Keke Station to the hotel, and the traffic is quite convenient. The mountain is relatively quiet, the hotel staff is English, the service is in place and warm. There are lakes, woods, mountains, hot springs and snow fields in the resort, where you can enjoy a few days of peace of mind. On the second day of our stay, we went to the far ski resort. The hotel staff helped to book a taxi. We also asked if we need a taxi to return. After confirmation, I also helped the driver to confirm the return time, which greatly helped us communicate with the driver. (There are more local tourists in Japan here, and the English level of restaurants and drivers is limited)

GGuest UserI would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service provided by one of your hotel staff members, Ito-san. During my stay in Hirugami No-Mori, Ito-San went above and beyond to ensure that our experience at your onsen/hotel was a memorable one.
Despite the language barrier, Ito-san's attentive nature and willingness to go above and beyond to assist me in navigating the area made a significant difference in my stay. Her use of Google Translate to communicate with us was impressive and demonstrated her dedication to providing top-notch service.
I was thoroughly impressed with her professionalism, positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills, which were evident in every interaction I had with her. Her talent is remarkable, and I hope that your hotel will continue to support and develop her professionally.
Please convey my heartfelt appreciation to Ito-san, and please recognize her outstanding work. She is a true asset to your onsen/hotel, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.
Thank you for providing me with a memorable experience, and I wish you and your team continued success.

GGuest UserI was able to stay in a single on a business trip.
Acacia put honey in the room as a present. Impressed!
There was a hot spring and a sauna, which was the best.
MMiu Yin WongThe hotel is a little remote on the mountain, but the rooms are mostly clean and tidy. Due to the rain on the day, we ended the trip early and went to the hotel to soak in the hot springs early. The hot spring baths were so comfortable.
The most especially the restaurant can't wear Japanese bathrobes to enter the venue. We have to go back to the room to change our clothes. The meal buffet has not many choices, but I am impressed that the Xi cold beef is delicious.
All the hotel staff saw was foreign, and none of them looked like Japan, interesting.
It happened that there was a car party that day. There were a lot of cars parked in the parking lot. Like the auto show, my husband took an umbrella to enjoy it.
The hotel is close to Bailu Lake, Venus Red Leaf Route, although the red leaf period has passed, but there is another quiet taste
