â Family Stay Review: Aryaduta Pekanbaru
We recently stayed at Aryaduta Pekanbaru for a family trip, and while the hotel has a good location and a well-known brand, our experience was below expectations.
đ„ Front Desk Experience
The check-in process was disappointing. The front staff were not friendly, and there was very little warmth or hospitality. Even though our room was already ready, they were very strict about only allowing check-in after 3pm, which made things inconvenientâespecially for families travelling with children or elderly.
đš Room Condition
The hotel is quite old, and it shows.
âą The room had a noticeable old smell when we entered.
âą The toilet wasnât very clean, and water leaked out into the room area, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for kids.
âą Overall, the upkeep and cleanliness were not at the standard we expected.
đ Facilities
We went to the pool area but found no staff at the pool counter, which made it difficult to request towels or assistance. The pool area itself is decent, but the lack of staff presence made it feel unmanaged.
đ Location
The hotel is in a convenient central area, close to malls and food outlets, which is the main positive point.

SSweetCoupleThis is our 1st time to Pekan Baru with new experience staying in Khas Hotel. Very warm hospitality from the team. The room is spacious but they did not provide the mini fridge. So sadđŁ(to management team- pls take note).We have a issue with the shower but the team managed to settle the problem in a time.Located near to the airport about 20 minutes away.Easy to get Grab/Maxime. On the right side hotel there Makam Pahlawan. And the best thing, RM Pagi Sore is only opposite the hotelđ€©

GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Besides being comfortable, it's right in the city center, close to large malls. Every time we had a staycation with the kids, swimming here was very comfortable. What really impressed me was getting a birthday surprise from the hotel staff!

The front desk service was very welcoming, which is why I insisted on staying there. The only downside was the lack of hot water. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was cleaner than other hotels, and not damp. If you don't mind the lack of hot water or the not-too-cold water, it's a good option.
