The room decor was quite distinctive and to my taste. We stayed in one of the slightly larger rooms, but it still felt a bit cramped because the bathroom and balcony were incorporated, making the space feel tight. The environment is nice, being close to the river, which is quite picturesque. If you prioritize the surroundings, it's a good choice. However, the bed was too soft and uncomfortable to sleep on, and the staff's attitude was also rather unenthusiastic.

A dream hotel! This was my absolute favorite hotel during my UK trip, bar none. The rooms are exquisite. We booked two rooms this time, a loft suite and a king room. The price difference wasn't huge, but the suite was incredible – it had a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom, it was fantastic. The air conditioning worked great, and the breakfast was delicious. It's about 1km from Cambridge University, easily accessible. There are temporary parking spots out front, and overnight parking in the basement, so no worries there. Two points for domestic travelers to note: 1. The EV charging station app in the basement cannot be downloaded or used by iPhones in mainland China or Hong Kong. Friends with electric cars should be aware of this. 2. The immediate area isn't particularly safe. When I went to the supermarket, I noticed that the people around seemed a bit questionable, especially if you go further north. For those concerned about safety, just avoid wandering around the area at night. The hotel itself is excellent and meets most needs.

This is a very old hotel, the hotel is a bit old, but the room is large, the hotel is good, the only drawback is that there is no elevator on the second floor, but the overall stay experience is still good, the best choice for family travel, facilities are also very good!

The Hotel was clean and helpful - although many staff seemed a little less that informed - the rooms were clean but cold at night turning the heating up didn’t help - the amenities over Christmas and new year were not as advertised- and the restaurant closed over this period so bar meals on laps were the best they could offer except breakfast which was good. Food other than breakfast was a poor selection little to offer for children or someone with diabetes so we had to eat out a lot despite being pre charged for meals.  The swimming was good but times advertised were not adhered to and no one knew times - and the rules very varied.  Once in the pool it was clean and warm.  Overall on our 2nd visit - first was better I think perhaps Christmas period is not a family period in which to spend time here.

A wonderful Spa hotel with super friendly, helpful and happy staff. The gym was great and I downloaded the Life Fitness App so I could log in and keep a note of the equipment and reps I used etc. The pool was lovely and I used the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. The room (Queen) was so comfortable and spacious with so many drawers and lots of hangers in the wardrobe. Very large dressing table with mirror!! Bathroom was spacious as well. Food was very good indeed. We all enjoyed eating there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 3 of us would highly recommend this hotel. We shall return and next time I will probably get a few treatments in the beauty salon.

Been 3 times now. The hotel is a great place for a relaxing break. The spa facilities and pool are lovely and it was a bonus to enjoy the waterside outdoor area in the warm weather. Very comfortable bed and nicely furnished room. Good to find a fan in the wardrobe! The breakfast food was of good quality but the arrangements were a bit disorganised this morning. Crockery etc was hard to find/ missing, clearer labels were needed e.g a label on the hot water container and soya milk labelled correctly. It was called ”oat milk”. The bar menu is a bit limited in my opinion. Just little details but the overall experience was very good. Sure I'll be back.

Location is very accessible by car. It is quiet. The breakfast is very good and up to the standard. There are on site swimming pool and fitness room. Plenty of car park places and free for members to use.

This was a last min booking and a stopover to make our journey easy we found this holiday inn mid point of our long drive. Was very surprised they had pool, sauna, steam and gym etc all included with the stay. The staff was very friendly and impressed with breakfast the next morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The location was ideal for us and a few hours stay turned out very pleasant.

Great scenery and staff were professional from the moment we arrived. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Cooked breakfast was of a good quality, although the continental breakfast was a bit minimalist. Car parking was plentiful and was easy to access from the main road although you had to drive down a narrow road around a field to get to the hotel. Generally very happy with my stay here at the Quy Mill
