GGuest UserThe room had a bad odor to it. I left the door open and turned on the air conditioning for three hours to try to get the stink out.. I don’t know when the last time anybody serviced their air conditioning, but looking inside the grill there was a bunch of stuff in it food dirt. I only had one bath towel, no hand towels, one washcloth.
MMoe Life nolaGreat staff, check in was simple not hard at all,a little rough around edges ,but stay was pleasant, shopping places are near, lots of food eating places that are close, plus an Walmart less than an half of mile walking distance

GGuest UserWe were on a trip with 4 other couples, all staying in various hotels around Canal/Bourbon street, and the property at Virgin Hotels in New Orleans, from the lobby/coffeshop, to the room, to the rooftop bar were far and away better than the other properties for around the same price. It was our Anniversary weekend, and there was a very nice gift from the hotel in our room upon arrival, and everything was perfect. For anyone looking to see the WWII museum on their stay, it was an easy 10 min. walk, and Bourbon Street was 15-20 minutes away (for those inclined).
The pictures and reviews on this hotel are accurate and probably understated compared to the experience we just had there in May 2022!
HHillaryA wonderful plantation house to visit (privately owned and filled with stories) and a great inn to stay in as well. A tip - make sure to make dinner reservations when you book as there are two restaurants on site and they get booked up. One is fine dining in the old French part of the house and the other is in a beautiful room called the Carriage House.
