I had a fantastic stay at Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan right in the heart of Stockholm. The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore. The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit. The public areas on the ground floor are spacious, and the breakfast is plentiful (though I'm not sure if it's always charged, as our booking included breakfast and no one checked our room number). The dining area has a novel design, and there's even a climbing wall for kids, which is really fun! You can self-check-in, which is a blessing for introverts. The room is minimalist but lacks amenities like a kettle and slippers. Overall, as our first stop in Sweden, we were very satisfied!

This hotel is good value for money, including breakfast and dinner, we stayed for three nights. At first, I didn't expect anything for dinner, and I didn't go to eat the first dinner. The second dinner was thinking of trying it out, but I didn't expect it to exceed expectations. Although it is a simple meal, it is healthy. There was a dinner that was taco, I felt very delicious, and I still remembered it after returning home. The fly in the ointment of this hotel is the location. The hotel is relatively biased, the bus travel is more convenient to have 401, the first day in the city center back to the hotel to find 401, followed Google Maps for half an hour to find the site, because that section is building the road, the original route has not been able to go, but the map has not been updated. The Skye bus is more time-consuming than Norway, basically 20 minutes a day, so it takes time on the road.

The hotel is generally good but it is far away from the city center. You have to buy daily ticket or 3-days ticket to reach the other places. You can not go to city center by walking. Also, there is not any supermarket or coffee shop to buy something in the near of hotel. On the other hand, the breakfast is enough good. Also, workers are nice and helpful people.

We stayed for 2 nights and were able to stay very comfortable. The dormitory had a locker (bringing a key) that each individual could use, and bath towels were also borrowed for free. There was no curtain on each bed, so I blindfolded it with a bath towel. Shared spaces such as shower toilets and kitchens seemed to be cleaned frequently. It's within walking distance to the center, so I don't think it's a problem if you don't have a lot of luggage.

Very quite ok Hotel, located fairly central, close to everything, quite quiet at night, the walls a bit noisy but not the worst. A big Plus with free parking, so you don't have to look around for where to park your vehicle. The breakfast could be better but style not bad

Supermarket shopping is convenient. Convenient bus.

Hotel breakfast is very simple and there are fewer choices. The surrounding transportation is convenient. There are many supermarket restaurants. Not far from Stockholm Central. The front desk lady is warm and thoughtful.
