Pet Friendly Hotels in Yucatan State, Mexico

Very nice and authentic feel to the hotel. Room is as in pictures, comfortable and clean. Pool was a bit small to use. Limited breakfast choice for early risers but everything was tasty. Definitely a recommend.

The hotel's location is convenient, with a market similar to Kowloon Walled City, a post office, and other amenities within walking distance. As for the room, the air conditioning worked well. While having the bathroom and toilet together is fine, there's no partition curtain, so when you shower, water inevitably splashes onto the toilet side, and then the room side gets wet as well. There was bar soap and a single-use packet of shampoo, but I recommend cutting a slit in the shampoo beforehand. It's difficult to cut with wet hands! The Wi-Fi was weak, but usable. Breakfast felt like an afterthought, but it's better than nothing. The night before check-out, I asked the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to the airport. When I mentioned the taxi situation at check-out before 6 AM the next morning, they said something like, ”There are plenty of taxis on the street outside!” so I decided to wait for one in front of the hotel. I wondered how many taxis there could be before 6 AM, but I managed to get one in about 10 minutes. When I asked the driver how much it would cost to get to the airport, he said ”300 pesos.” I don't know if that's a fair price or not, but he ended up taking me for ”250.” The driver was very considerate of my flight time... I would like to ask that they be more diligent in communicating important information.
