Beautiful, charming hotel, a bit dated. Large rooms, good restaurants, and good room service. Underground parking with no elevator and a bad sewer smell.
I really like this old hotel, the perfect location, the Buddha and the warm service, the Mexican service is really very good. The executive floor is set, and those snacks and coffee breakfast are free. The service is really great, people can't help but tip more.
The facilities are very new, the transportation is convenient, and it is very close to the city center. There is a large supermarket Wal-Mart 500 meters walk, which has everything inside. And the front desk service is warm and generous, and there is free hot water at the front desk.
Great stay, modern rooms. Breakfast is rich, very good experience, that is, the check-in time is too short, not strolling nearby, staying in the early morning, going out early in the morning, a little hurry.
Living in the same neighborhood, I was curious about to know what the old house on Colón Avenue had become, so I decided to spend a weekend at the property, turning out the experience overmet my expectations! Great service!, feeling comfortable as at home, Thanks¡ to the friendly warming staff. The room was fabulous, had the most comfortable sleep and my own tub on the balcony ! Cuna, a top restaurant!, signature menu by Chef Maycoll Calderon, amazing food a four course menu, tostada de pulpo maya, tiradito de pescado and the freshly baked pizza just delicious! The gardens simply gorgeous, breathtaking and appeasing, everything there is immaculate and most tasteful in every respect. Feeling as I found my own private oasis!
This time I came to Merida to attend an international conference. Although this hotel is a little far from the city center, the taxi fare is only about 80MXN each time. The hotel quality is super good, breakfast is served from 6 o'clock, and the cost performance is super high! Highly recommended!
The only drawback is that the floor of the shower room is too slippery and there is no anti-slip mat. I can only use the towel placed outside as a foot pad and put it on the floor of the shower room.
Clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The hotel was spotless, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better, close to everything I wanted to see and do. Despite being so central, it was surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to relax. Would definitely stay here again.
Strategically located next to a typical Mayan community, Hacienda Santa Rosa welcomes guests to share in their culture and traditions. Surrounded by charms such as the Celestún Biosphere Reserve, Calcehtok Caves, and Oxkintok.
In 1998, the Hacienda was restored and transformed into a hotel with the vision of providing a full immersion into the historical and biocultural richness of the Mayan world. After a meticulous restoration process, the original architectural features were preserved; ancient Mayan construction techniques and materials were reclaimed. Adapting spaces for hotel functions, the splendor of the past was preserved, respecting existing proportions.
Upon arrival, you'll notice the celestial blue of the Main House, where the atmosphere of the sisal haciendas has endured. In the Main House, you'll find the exclusive Taller Maya boutique, featuring creations designed especially for our guests, connecting Mayan wisdom with contemporary design and supporting fair trade.
The spa, also located in the Main House, our spa therapists possess ancient Mayan knowledge called "sobada," with the ability to heal through their hands. This unique technique not only offers guests a healing process but also immerses them in a magical experience. Here, the rest of the spirit merges with the millennia-old tradition of the Maya, creating an environment where well-being intertwines with ancestral heritage.
