We booked it by chance. We planned to watch the fireworks display at Shimazaki Park, and there weren't many hotels available nearby. After careful consideration, we decided to stay in Jogawajiri. After watching the fireworks display, we walked to the guesthouse via Amanohashidate, which was already past 10 PM. We had no expectations, thinking we'd just spend the night and rush back to Osaka the next day. We arrived drenched in sweat, and the guesthouse owner said, ”Hurry up and get some bathing.” It was only after 11 PM that we finally finished, and we realized it was actually a hot spring bath. It was a pleasant surprise to experience Amanohashidate Onsen in Japan. The price was reasonable overall, and the room was clean with tatami mats.
The hotel faces the beach, the weather is good, you can see the sunset in the room, while taking a bath and watching the sunset, very positive!
Dinner and breakfast are rich in content. Suuxi roast is provided for dinner. Every time the staff is used up, they will also change to a new pot.
However, wheelchair people are more inconvenient. The ground reception has to walk the stairs to the first floor to have a lift. The staff will also be very enthusiastic to help carry the luggage to the first floor. You need to pay attention to this when booking.
The room was clean, but there was dust between the air conditioners or the building was old, so it smelled a bit peculiar. But after sleeping overnight, you get used to it. ㅋㅋㅋ Except for this, all the staff turn the translator and check it carefully and are very kind. When all the restaurants nearby were closed, I couldn't eat, I gave them cup noodles, or drove them to the convenience store in front of the station. It's a bit eerie when you come out of the hallway at night. On the first day, when I went to thunder and lightning, I was completely scared and almost peeed ... But for me, it was a different experience, so it was good. ㅋㅎ If you come here, you will have to buy a lot of food in advance at the convenience store. And breakfast wasn't bad. I ate deliciously.
The conclusion was not bad overall. It was nice to have a unique Japanese feel. There is no place to eat nearby, so you have to buy it in advance. I went to Kamai and Yuhigaura Beach and it was pretty ~ All the staff are friendly and nice ~

We stayed with 4 family members and 1 dog. Anyway, the location was great and I took a walk in Kiyomizu-dera and Gion with a dog. The room was small for 4 adults to stay, but it was clean and easy to spend.

The location is great, right near Karasuma Station. The hotel itself is new and stylishly designed. They even have a record player in the room! For this price, it's excellent value for money. The hotel's location makes it convenient to get anywhere, and there are many charming Kyoto-style neighborhoods nearby. I especially loved the breakfast spots around there. The staff were also very enthusiastic. A really good experience overall.

I saw some negative reviews online and was a bit worried, but my actual stay was a pleasant surprise! The room was generally very clean and had everything I needed. Getting a private bathroom for this price is fantastic, as I'm getting older and hostels just don't cut it anymore. I accidentally booked a smoking room, but there was no smell of smoke, and the room even had an air purifier. All the equipment worked well. They provided a full set of toiletries, including shower gel and disposable slippers. The front desk service was also good, though not absolutely perfect (for example, the cups were dirty). Still, I was genuinely impressed – excellent value for money!
