The hotel boasts excellent amenities and a prime location, a private entrance to the Valley of Temples. However, there's room for improvement in the service department; it falls short of delivering a consistently five-star experience. The staffs could enhance their customer orientation and avoid a selective attention to guests.
Very good hotel, I will definitely book this hotel next time if I have the opportunity, the price is very suitable and good. The location of the hotel is also very good👍👍👍
The hotel has large rooms (at least ours were), halls and smaller stairs. There is a kind of common room/kitchen in every floor and a ”autonomous” bar with living in the latest floor. Girl at the reception very available. Health services with all the necessary, everything very clean. Negative sides: uncomfortable mattress, not completely open window, room faced on the road with rooms so a little noisy in the evening
It was very nice and the decoration and Furniture was very antique and nice. The rooms were nice and had clean sheets and Two TV’s. The bathroom as well was very clean and nice although there was no toothbrush holder. Besides the rooms the Hotel had amazing breakfast service and very clean nice courtyards and a Poll and Scuba diving, They also have a Spa and restaurant. An Overall amazing Hotel, The only downside was the location being far from the City but with horrible Traffic inside the city it was nice to be a little bit away from the city center.
Old-fashioned European hotel, but the environment is really good, especially from the height of the garden to see the Valley of the Temple, 5 minutes from the Valley of the Temple, free parking, breakfast is not bad!
Very lovely hotel and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for visiting the Valley of the Temples and the Scala dei Turchi beach nearby. Highly recommend.

The price is very low, just like the ordinary hotel is still 3,000 a day, alas, no way, Italy is like this, the hotel has no price/performance ratio, next time you go out with a tent
The location is great, I'd say it's pretty central, and for a four-star hotel, the price is quite affordable (they even have single rooms). However, the facilities are a bit basic. The soundproofing between rooms isn't great (my advice: bring earplugs!). They do provide disposable slippers. The front desk staff are friendly. It seems like there are two people who clean the rooms; one of them was very meticulous, tidying up my desk and pajamas, which was a nice touch 😋. The breakfast is a simple Western-style meal, and the taste is decent.
Staying with friends, the hotel facilities are complete, the gym pool is all available, and the rooms are beautifully furnished. The service staff is also very warm and friendly, the breakfast is rich and satisfactory, it is recommended to stay!

GGalina EfimovaDisappointing Experience 🫣
I had a rather unpleasant stay at *Appartamenti Rosa Dei Venti* in Trapani.
First of all, the parking situation is very misleading. It's advertised as “free parking near the property,” but in reality, you’ll be given a business card upon arrival with the name of a parking lot located 3 km away in an industrial area beyond the port. They do offer a free shuttle to and from the parking lot, but be prepared to wait. Even if you prearrange your pick-up time, you'll likely have to call and ask “Where are you?” when the time comes.
As for the apartment itself — unfortunately, it was far from cozy. The building hardly gets any sunlight, so the space feels dark and chilly. I was freezing at night under a very thin blanket. The bathroom window opens into the shared stairwell, so you can hear people coming in and out, and even sounds from neighboring bathrooms — not exactly pleasant.
The location is central, but that also means a lot of street noise. There’s a café just below the windows. I was lucky it was a weekday and they closed around 11 PM — but not without the clatter of dumpsters and shutters being slammed. Conversations from people downstairs are easily heard inside the room.
To be fair, the apartment was clean, which is probably the only positive I can mention.
In summary, if you're staying in Trapani for just a day or two, I’d recommend booking a hotel instead — something more welcoming and better managed. And unless you're traveling without a car and plan to spend all your time in the city center, this place may not be the best option. For me, it was an overall disappointing experience.
GGabor RatkayThe room/bed/elevator/parking was comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly.
At the set dinner, it would have been better to have 3 dishes to choose from per category. If there had always been three types (pork/beef, chicken, fish).
The breakfast was lacking in vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers), and it would have been better to have a larger selection of savory foods (meat, cheese).
GGuest UserThe hotel was not obvious for us - when we arrived, we drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a sign before parking on the wrong side of the road, and having to call for instructions. It was our fault, as the hotel tried contacting us earlier in the day but we did not have signal to take the call. Once we were instructed to the right place, it was super straightforward as Gianluca buzzed us in remotely, and upon verifying ID, let us into the unit and our bedroom. The lift in the building was super cool - for this experience alone I recommend staying in this hotel.
The room was charming. Our previous hotel was a suite so this felt a bit small, but it was homely all the same. The small downside was how warm it felt in the room. The air conditioning wouldn't work with the windows open, but it wasn't running very strong. At night, we preferred keeping the window open for some fresh air instead. The poster bed added a quaint and romantic feel to the room, and we were absolutely spoilt with a surprise of a bottle of Prosecco as a gift! Of course, the highlight of the whole place was the jacuzzi in the bathroom. As we both had to do some work and also were tired from a road trip, all of these little touches made the stay in this hotel incredibly luxurious for us. I really recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon.
IIka_EllyGreat experience!
Everything was really good. We had a room with terass and a view of the sea. It was stunning.
Room was very clean and sheets where changed daily, which was nice when you have two dogs that sneak into bed during the night.
Location was great. A short distance walk to the town center with shops and restaurants.
The parking service was great. They park the car for you and when you need it they will bring the car in front of the hotel within 15 minutes. It will cost you 20€/ night but it's hassle free.
Staff is fantastic. We arrived around 6AM (much earlier than expected), and way too early for the normal check-in time. We were absolutely exhausted after a night of driving and our room wasn't ready. But the staff was kind enough to give us a room to sleep in, and at 11AM we could check-in to our booked room. Free of charge!
Breakfast was also great and they do packed breakfast if you leave before breakfast time.
The hotel doesn't do laundry, but there is a laundry place 800m away.
GGuest UserHotel is located in a suburb. Sea without swimming, restaurants within walking distance. Bus connection could be improved. 10 minutes walk from Pirandelli train station.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a good location, the overall room size is reasonable, tidy, the breakfast is also good, , but the price is not very attractive. The hotel staff was not very polite. We were in a hurry when checking out, but the staff preferred to continue chatting with other customers rather than taking our check-out key. It was not until I expressed many times that I really had to catch the bus that the staff reluctantly took my key.
CClaire MHotel Vittoria is an older hotel - quite nostalgic I must say! Just look at the key of the room! Totally old style, but super cool! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the room was big and clean and very simple. The bed was bigger than what we usually had during our Sicily trip and it was very comfy ... I'd say it reflected the size of the room ... 😂
The breakfast next morning was very nice - we had eggs, crêpes, cakes, fruits, ... a lot to choose from and again, very helpful and friendly staff. Those heads on the pictures were all on tables on the way to the dining room ... Unfortunately, I forgot to take more pictures of the hotel, but instead, I will add some pix of Trapani where in the evening we enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets of our trip ... And that tree! OMG! What a personality! 😍
NNotInTheBoxVilla La Lumia B&B Suites & Apartments is a peaceful and charming accommodation option in Agrigento, Sicily, close to the Valley of the Temples. This 19th-century building combines old-world charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and come with air conditioning, a minibar and a private bathroom. Some rooms offer stunning views of the Valley of the Temples and the Mediterranean Sea. The garden is filled with olive and citrus trees, and breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the temples, with fresh orange juice and local delicacies. The host Luigi and his family are warm and welcoming, providing attentive service and making you feel warm.
The hotel is in a great location, a 15-minute walk to the Valley of the Temples and a 20-minute drive to Scala dei Turchi. Free Wi-Fi, parking and a pet-friendly policy add to the convenience. The outdoor barbecue area and jacuzzi add to the leisure time. Although some travelers mentioned that it was a little difficult to find the hotel at night, overall the environment is clean and the atmosphere is quiet, suitable for travelers seeking relaxation and cultural experience. With its unique Sicilian style and excellent location, Villa Lumia is an ideal place to stay when exploring Agrigento and is worth a visit!
GGuest UserThe hotel is really nicely located with a view to Mount Etna, also with an outside swimming pool area.
Rooms were spacious and absolutely clean.
Service at reception was excellent while bar and restaurant service could be sometimes a little bit faster and more professional.
What we did not appreciate: We followed an invitation of the hotel restaurant for a full Saturday night dinner menu, which should be accompanied by a live saxophonist. But when the saxophonist did not appear we were informed they copied the invitation just from two weeks ago. At least we would have expected some sort of professional apologies and set-off because we wouldn´t have stayed for dinner if we had known in advance.
