Great privacy and safety with bed curtains. It's relatively quiet; the room has good soundproofing and convenient transportation. The hygiene could use a bit of improvement, as the pillowcase was a little dirty. Luckily, I brought my own. Charging devices on the top bunk can be a bit inconvenient. They offer luggage storage after check-out. The front desk lady was very friendly and always served with a smile. There's a small bar downstairs where you can grab a drink and relax.

In addition to a cold meal buffet, breakfast also offered hot meals that could be ordered from a menu. Coffee and hot meals were brought to you hot after you ordered them. I ordered sausages, and they were more filling than I expected. Perhaps because I went when the breakfast area was just opening, the bread was also warm and delicious. Overall the food was delicious, but I especially liked the fruit juice served with the coffee.

It was in a great location on the Buda side where you over look the river and see the parliament building, there was just a couple of issues, we were located near the breakfast restaurant where they have speakers playing loud music 24hrs which isn'tgreat when you'restill awake at 3am in the morning trying to sleep, I have asked them to turn it off one evening but the next it was left on again the next evening. Room cleaning isn't something they do everyday unless you request, which is fine, but when you do request it on the day at 7am at the front desk before we left, we came back around 4pm with nothing being done and the people at the front desk not knowing it had been requested.

Lovely hotel with well appointed rooms and nice staff. Only two issues-the room we had on the 5th floor was noisy with a lot of sirens on the street outside for much of the night. The second point was our deal included a drink for each of us every night of our stay but the bar wasn’t even open on the first two nights. A minor point but nobody from the hotel offered to put that right. Would I stay here again-probably yes.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center. The location was perfect — close to the city center and very convenient for public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again on my next visit to Budapest!

This is a really great hotel. The facilities have a wonderful sense of history, and it's very clean. It's a shame I only stayed for one night, but I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

While the hotel is located slightly outside the city center, it is conveniently situated directly on a metro line, with only 3–4 stops to the city center, which takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Regarding airport access: for those traveling light (e.g., with a trolley suitcase), public transportation is a convenient option, with a direct bus to the city center and then metro, total travel time around 50 minutes. For those with heavier luggage, it is recommended to use a taxi for comfort and convenience. The hotel is also next to a large shopping mall and several supermarkets and casual dining options, although higher-quality restaurants are found in the city center. The hotel rooms are adequate and acceptable, with generally fair cleanliness. The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center with a wide variety of machines, allowing for a full-body workout. Additionally, the hotel has a pleasant swimming pool and a very professional and well-heated sauna, which enhances the overall wellness experience. The presence of water dispensers both in the gym and near the sauna is highly appreciated and essential for guest safety, helping to prevent dehydration.

Hotel had everything we needed and the staffs were really nice! It is also very near a metro station, supermarket, and good food. Only down side is that the carpet is slightly stained (might be hard to maintain), otherwise all other facilities was really clean and nice. Also note that it might not be for light sleepers as the road sounds are loud and every hour you’ll get big honking/sirens wailing.

The room offers a direct view of the Danube, with sights like Fisherman's Bastion clearly visible. The breakfast spread is extensive, and they even have Chinese signs, which is a nice touch for Chinese guests. The room itself is good, though the double bed is made up of two smaller beds pushed together, which is quite common in Europe. Overall, it's highly recommended.
