The room was clean and spacious unlike other cheap rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast amazing and super delicious..
Overall it will kill (win your heart)❤️
As regular visitors we always enjoy Slaley Hall.
The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, from a warm welcome at Reception to check out.
The staff are all very pleasant and helpful.
The facilities are good, as are the food and rooms.
The location is good, perhaps the only downside is a lack of signage from the road for new visitors.
Friendly pub with nice staff. Check in was pleasant and efficient. Room was adequate and better equipped than many hotels. I hated the tiny hanbasin for shaving. The floors were a little creaky, however this did not disturb my sleep!! Parking is a little hit and miss but managed with my itinerary lol. Excellent Real Ale in the friendly bar.

We stayed last week for 3 nights - bed breakfast and evening meal. We had a sea view room with balcony. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, polite & welcoming. The food was top quality - highlights were the hot, freshly cooked buffet breakfast, big fresh croissants and one of the best currys we've ever had (chicken narpiaza). The room was modern, well furnished, clean and very warm (appreciated considering it was freezing outside). The shower temperature could be a bit variable but the power was good. We sometimes got in the pub carpark, sometimes had to use the public one, but at just over a fiver for 24 hours and being just across the road, it wasn't a concern. Highly recommended.

Hotel location is very good, convenient to visit the Great Wall of Hadrian, visit the surrounding countryside, there is a small river flowing next to it, the scenery is very beautiful; the hotel is a bit old, but the maintenance is OK, the bathroom seems to have been renovated; the parking lot has sufficient parking spaces; Breakfast is good, but dinner is not all inclusive, it is your own order, within 25 pounds, more or less, less, this is a bit unaccustomed.
Really enjoyed my first stay. Staff were very pleasent.
Breakfast was pleantiful and well presented.
You must have your own transport as there were no buses.
There's too much of a long walk into Alnwick by the A1 mortorway. That's not very pleasent or safe.
The only issue I had was with the awlful television (It certainly needs updating) in the Cart Shed accommodation. The hand controller was useless.
It's a great hotel worth recommending. It's very clean. We arrived late but the host is still very friendly! It is really worth recommending! great place

Very Good
GGuest UserBit of a random spot for a hotel being on the side of a highway, but really worked for me as a solo traveller doing lots of driving! Fantastic place to recuperate for a night. Clean, quiet, lovely staff, great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if I’m passing through!
托托马斯大货车The environment is very, very good, quiet, and the hotel is very historic, the hotel’s restaurant is superb, Scottish style, right on the border of England and Scotland, superb
